President Barack Obama is holding a comfortable lead over Republican presidential nominee hopefuls, according to the latest poll released by Siena College.

  • Against Mitt Romney, Obama took in 56 percent of the vote compared to 36 for the former Massachusetts governor.
  • Against Texas governor Rick Perry - the nominal leader over a wide field of GOP contenders, according to most national polls - Obama was even stronger, with a 56-33 percent advantage.
  • Voters approved of Obama's American Jobs Act by a 33-19 margin.
  • When compared to GOP proposals for spurring job growth, Obama's measure held a 52-31 percent advantage.
  • 49 percent of voters preferred Obama's economic recovery plan. Just 33 percent favored Republican plans.

I notice you didn't include the "In New York State"... Nor did you put in the ... that indicated you removed that in the first sentence of the story...

The actual first sentence (bold added on salient portion):
(RTTNews) - President Barack Obama is holding a comfortable lead over Republican presidential nominee hopefuls in New York State, according to the latest poll released Monday by Siena College.

Interesting what you decide to edit out of the story. I doubt that anybody is shocked that a Democrat holds a lead in that particular state.

Really? I seem to recall many righties triumphantly declaring a Republican renaissance for New York after the creator of the Jerry Springer show got Weiners' House seat.

Yet you still removed that portion of the sentence clearly attempting to have others draw a different conclusion. I find that interesting. Often how people edit the stories they are posting is more interesting than the stories.

Interesting how a board moderator selectively points these things out in an attempt to discredit the poster. Tell me, do you exercise this level of scrutiny on all posts?

Usually. You only feel it when it is you that gets embarrassed, otherwise you say dumb stuff like, "Even Damocles thinks..." as if you could ever understand a mind that actually functions.

I'm embarrassed?

Please, provide an example of a time when I said "even Damocles thinks".

Pathetic attempt to try and tie Turner to Jerry Springer as something to ridicule...its laughable

Turner was President of Multimedia Entertainment and oversaw programs like
Rush Limbaugh's television talk show
The Jerry Springer Show.
The Phil Donahue Show
The Sally Jesse Raphael Show.
Baywatch
new versions of Family Feud
To Tell the Truth.
Family and Fame
Leonard Nimoy series, In Search Of...and others

He also served as Director of Advertising for Bristol-Myers Company
He orchestrated the sale of Multimedia Entertainment to Gannett Corporation for $2.1 billion in 1995

Yeah...he was quite a savvy and successful businessman....certainly different than the pervert Weiner he replaced.....
