Florida state Rep. Matt Gaetz (R) was among those spinning reporters for Rick Perry after the debate.

"That was very unfortunate," he said. "I wish that one of the candidates, any of them, would have highlighted how disrespectful it was for anyone in the audience to boo someone who who’s risking their life for our country."

It was pointed out to Gaetz that his candidate, Perry, stood silent along with the others on stage after the boos.

"I think that a lot of the candidates were caught up in the moment. "That was a very unfortunate moment in the debate."

“It was unfortunate,” said Jon Huntsman.

This is even better...from Santorum himself:

"I have to admit, I seriously did not hear those boos. Had I heard them, I certainly would have commented on them, but, as you know, when you’re in that sort of environment, you’re sort of focused on the question and formulating your answer. I just didn’t hear those couple of boos that were out there, but certainly had I, I would have said “Don’t do that. This man is serving our country and we are to thank him for his service.”"

How strange, none of the debaters heard the boos, according to them...watch the video and see if it looks like Santorum heard...he heard the soldier, but didn't hear the boos?

And he heard the widespread applause, whistles, and hoots of approval from the audience when he said 'sex is not an issue", judging by his smile.

"Appalling, but predictable behavior from that sea of white faces, who follow the example of former GOP audience's aka tea party rallys, crowds, protests, ect. with low road, moral deprived, mob mentality disgusting worship of death and oppression since the precedent was set during Sarah Palin's Vice Presidential campaign, 2008. Once that monster came out from under the rug, where the right has carefully kept it, they've not been inclined to pull cover since. In fact, its gotten worse, more raw and sinister. We really shouldn't be surprised to watch it happen without so much as a raised eyebrow, admonishment or call for civility from those who pretend to be leaders for these conservative, republican, tea party particpants. It's who they are as well." -Sue

makes you wonder who the hell was clapping and cheering for good ole Herman Cain in that auditorium......they must have been piping in cheers from the kitchen help, huh ?
Maybe there were a slew of parking lot attendants and valets cheering for Herman....

See what you can find out about it, Twinkletoes, you race-baiting, fudge packing, homo.....

Think Blabo would boo a gay soldier?

Not to his face, of course.

Poor Blabo.

So, if homosexuals reveal there sexuality, Republicans say they should be kicked out.

If hetrosexuals reveal there sexuality, Republicans say they should not be kicked out.

And the current policy is giving the homosexuals preferental treatment?

i see no problem with people booing something they don't agree with. the dumb liberals want to make believe it was just because he was a soldier.

:palm:

Pathetic. How can you defend it?

Thats rich.....from one of the brainwashed followers of the crowd that spit at Viet Nam vets and called them war criminals, and then ran one of that bunch for president...
not to mention electing a draft dodger and ridiculing a fighter pilot that served in the TNG....

Amazing, ..... that EVERYTHING, and I mean everything, that the left accuses the right of doing is exactly what they do as a matter of every day behavior and on a grander scale by any measurement........

What an idiot. I didn't do any of that shit, nor did I condone it. I was disgusted by it.

But, it's nice to know that it only bothers YOU when the left does it. Good going.

you're pathetic. how can you not defend free speech? you have no problem with righties get boo'd...nice double standard

Idiot. I'm not saying they don't have a right to boo. I'm saying they're pathetic for doing so, and you're pathetic for defending them.

Only Yurt could make this about "free speech." No one is suggesting banning the right to boo.

And give me a break w/ your idiot double-standard. If this had been Dems, we'd see 3 threads by now out of you.

Such a pathetic hypocrite....

somebody's pissy.

if this was done by dems i wouldn't create a single thread. dems have done this and have you seen me create a thread about it? oooops. more onceler lies.

you're pathetic for having a double standard. you don't say boo when dems boo, but now a righty boos something you agree with and all of a sudden it is a bad thing. take your hypocrite bullshit and pound sand.

Gee, I thought the booing was from liberals trying to make the GOP look bad.
