Texas Execution Halted by SCOTUS

Perry's stance on capital punishment has garnered widespread support.

I personally oppose capital punishment as long as the possibility of executing an innocent person exists.

i oppose capital punishment for a similar reason, that and if the sob is guilty, then life in prison is a better punishment than the death penalty

I oppose capital punishment entirely. A true life sentence is enough to keep them out of society without the negative result of no way to change the result if you are later found innocent. Even people who "admitted" the crime have later found to be false confessing.

Plus, a nice long life of imprisonment is far more punishment than a nice quiet death like we give to our dogs out of compassion.

How is that a sterotype, Mary; seeing as how the information, for the conclusion, was provided by you.
If you don't want others to chime in, then take it to PM. :)
Lies and sissy chatter ( which is really all you contribute)

One thing, Mary. No hitting with your purse.

Swish in? A daisy in my lapel? I don't swish. And I don't wear flowers. Do you? Whatever you may think or believe, that is a stereotype. Most gay men that I know, would be hard for you to detect as "gay". Gay is a spectrum....from drag queen to thug life. Address the wrong person "wrongfully" and it might be your last day on Earth. Jus' sayin'.
And wherever I goeth, I hardly announce to the world my sexual orientation, my ethnicity (which can be seen from a distance) or my screen name (which is what I am, not who...and contrived for your benefit).
Mary, Barbara Jean? The mere fact that you are attempting to "camp" with me, announces to the world the probability that you're as gay as I am. Association breeds assimilation.
Look it up. Purse? Another stereotype. Maybe a "man bag". And you wouldn't want to get hit with that, due to the damage it's sure to cause. And then there is the old reliable fist, bitch.

I oppose capital punishment because innocent people always end up getting screwed.

Well. not always, but one out of a hundred is to much.

Just now able to get back to you, Mary, on this.
I see that you're getting your exercise; what with all the jumping to conclusions, that you do. :)

As to the rest of your whining; you sure do spend a lot of time trying to convince yourself that you aren't the idiot that you keep proving you are and the discussion was about you, not about who you would like to be.
