yes, because clearly you are on this issue. The entire race was made a referendum on Obama's handling of the economy and on his position on Israel. It was the driving force behind two prominent Dems jumping ship and backing Turner.

It isn't my OPINION yurt... it is a fact. Turner won due predominantly to those two things. It was not due to Weiner.

again, you're posting opinions. and that is fine. those opinions could very well be right and it had nothing to do with weiner. i find that highly unlikely as weiner was just reelected last year. obama's position on israel has not changed since then, as far as i know. the economy is not that different now than it was then. imo, weiner's scandal was likely a tipping point for people on the fence. it was only an 8% difference. and don't forget, turner lost to weiner in 2010.

SF is omniscient. The sooner you realize this, the better off you will be. The Democrats lost this special election because of Obama. The Democrats won the special election in upstate NY earlier this year because of their superior organization.

1) Weiner was NOT on the ticket (and he was an incumbant when HE ran)

2) Koch did NOT endorse a Rep and tell the community, vote against Obama's position on Israel

3) The economy was a lot better in Nov 2010. You state 'in your opinion' it was not much different. We had not just had the debt debacle, we had GDP growth at the time being estimated far higher than it is right now.

4) You say stupid things like 'Weiner was likely a tipping point for people on the fence': To which I again ask you.... WTF are you basing that on? WEINER DIDN'T RUN. Why the hell would anyone hold HIS scandal against another Dem if they are normal Dem voters? It wasn't even an issue in this election. you idiot.

Again you moron... WEINER DID NOT RUN. In 2010, WEINER was the incumbent. In 2010, Weiner did not have major Dems coming out against him. In 2010, the economy was BETTER than it is today.
