i doubt that it will pass the senate or if it passes survive a veto

Fuel costs are to blame, and so is a shift in how the rest of the world eats. The demand for food is up around the globe, driving prices up. The cost of food worldwide rose 37 percent from February 2010 to this year, according to figures compiled by a United Nations organization.

Much of the increased cost is because of bio-fuel subsidies, proven ineffective almost upon conception.

Now the scum responsinble will penalize the poor for their own malfeasence.

With a 40% increase in food costs in the last 18 months alone, a 20% cut in food stamps guarrantees some recipients will starve to death.

The politicians are taking this to a razor's edge and it may well be their undoing.
 
The days of laying around the house naked and eating cheetos while playing video games wil soon come to an end for many.

When BushII was told that the food for fuel progam was a failure his response was that he wanted to increase the ethanol content of gasoline to 20%.
 
If you make oil organic oil illegal corn has to be used. Please don't make organic oil legal. I like high prices just like turbo libs.

Most recipients of food stamps desperate need them, and often compromise between food, heat, or medication, buying just what they think is most likely to keep them alive at the moment.

I have seen plenty of whiteys get turned away. I tell them to put on their black face and go back dressed up as a crack whore or your mom.

I notice no link to the bill... and on searching for it in the news the latest farm bill (that's where food stamps come from) that was passed was in 2008 and it passed both the House and the Senate.
