You don't give the unemployment rate during the Bush years after the tax cuts. You jump from 2003 to the present, making it appear that unemployment increased during the Bush years. Democrats took over the house and the Senate in 2006, and the house is where spending originates. I agree the repubs spent too much and that is why they lost in 2006, but the Dems and Obama have spent more than anyone in our history and you as well as I know that is true. Tax breaks for the wealthy did not make jobs go away.

You want to talk about jobs? Go ask your dear leader why his job czar, the CEO of GE, just sent over 25,000 jobs to China. When you find out the answer then come back and tell us why.

To be honest, the 'mantra' has been that tax cuts promote a friendlier business environment. There are no absolutes, and these policies do not exist within a void.
