Sorry, but I disagree with Obama for not prosecuting those in the Bush administration who commited crimes.
The main problem with this course of action is that it leaves the door open to future abuses.
I REALLY wish Hillary had been elected.
Several things need to be pointed out here, because you are too much of a dumbass to understand. First off, you don't seem to have any idea of what kind or ramifications it would have on American politics, if we actually DID prosecute a former president for war crimes. I suspect after we carted off a few future Democrat presidents to be executed for war crimes, based on a bunch of trumped up political propaganda, you'd have a change of heart about this policy. You did realize this would set a precedent, right? From then on... every president would have to worry about getting re-elected, THEN how to beat the war crimes rap which would certainly be brought. Is that what you want things to be like for future presidents? Of course, the president could choose to do nothing that could ever be construed as a war crime, effectively rendering the president impotent. Then there would be the possible matter of impeachment for neglecting to do his job and protect American citizens, so there's that. In short, you would end up with administrations going out of their way to ensure no connection could ever be made to the president... plausible deniability gone wild. Now, in that environment, why not go ahead and order atrocities and commit legitimate war crimes? If you've successfully established a system to protect the president, they could do anything they pleased then, and never be held accountable.
The next thing that needs to be pointed out to your retarded ass, is that Hillary Clinton would have NEVER advocated war crimes for Bush or Cheney. In fact, if such a charge were levied against the Bush Administration, the Clinton Administration would also be implicated, and probably Hillary herself. She was damn near more 'hawkish' on Iraq, Afghanistan, and terrorism, as Bush! So the idea that Hillary might have prosecuted Bush for war crimes, is a hoot! Hell, I doubt you could have gotten Dennis Fucking Kusinich to lob war crimes charges against Bush and Cheney, much less Hillary! You are longing for something that just wasn't ever going to happen in the real world.... a FANTASY.... something liberals had wet dreams about for a while.... GET OVER IT!
Finally, there is the general world standard for what constitutes a prosecutable "war crime" in terms of legal ramification. If they discovered mass graves at Gitmo, and that Bush had ordered the execution of prisoners... then you may have a case.... it would depend on how many people he murdered. They have let go many a thug who killed thousands of their own citizens (not prisoners).... so I can't see how they could find guilt for someone who did so much less. We have the bar set pretty dang high for war crimes, since it's generally a death sentence if found guilty. I'm not saying this is right or wrong, just the reality of what we live in. You somehow think we live in Liberal Fantasyland, where only Liberals would get to decide Bush's fate, and any previous understanding of what is a "war crime" would be tossed out the window and dismissed.
I really do think many of you pinheads need some therapy. Seriously.
