How is this for a current event.... I topped 200 for the first time ever at Christmas so I decided to do something about it. Today my wife bought me a pair of shorts, 32 waist... the first time since collage Ive worn a 32.

Congradulate me.

No doubt Jarod. Good job. I hit 220 in December of 09 and decided to do something about it. I had an annual check up and my BMI was at 27% my BP was at 160/90 and my total cholesterol was at 205 with my ldl under 50. So I modified my diet and started riding my bike again. In that time I've lost 27 lbs. gained lean muscle mass got my BP and Cholesterol to normal levels and I feel and look a whole lot better. Though I haven't lost that much in weight due to increase in lean muscle mass I've gone from a 38" waist down to 34".

I'm thinking about buying a new bike now just to piss Billy off.

My 34 waist supports 240lbs and My BP is 118/78 (Last I checked). Your bike will raise that last figure a good deal though.

Congradulations; but you do know that in 4 years you will cease to exist.

Its not necessarly the weight that is important.

Not a great fan of collage. Met and attended a 'show and tell' (tic) with Peter Blake some years ago. It was my opinion that the only art he displayed was in his passion for his craft.
Saying you lost 'n' pounds/ounces/kilos/tonnes doesn't mean much unless we know how tall you are. My own weight of 189/191 would not be good if I was 4'6". About a year ago I was told my cholesterol was too low. 'Oh dear,' says I, 'what should I do?' The answer came: 'A weekly Big Mac!' I couldn't do that so I went back to chips and crispy chicken skin!
Still going and last night at a large and extremely raucus barby I gorged on chicken wings, cheap, crappy sausages, ribs, steaks and more beer than I am suppose to consume in a week. I am quite surprised to be here this morning!
