Are There Any American Companies Manufacturing Televisions?

I recently purchased a new flat screen television, and I did not see one television that was made by an American manufacturer or one that was made in America. When I was younger almost all the televisions were made in America.

Well....if you see one with about an 18" screen selling for $5000.00, it is without doubt one that was made in the US by union workers....

If there are any made in America there will only be one model, you'll need a forklift to move it and it wont go through your front door!

U.S. Merchant Marines, 1990-1996, I joined to support the first gulf war, go fuck yourself.
So....no uniform service, huh.....

civilian-owned merchant ships....tugboats, towboats, ferries, and dredges

Thats not even up to the level of the Coast Guard, who is a uniformed service.....

Cute name though.....more service than Obama

Well, if you were called upon to deliver supplies to the real armed services,

at least you could get veteran status because of Reagan....

Just like a swift boater, attacking someone's service because he's liberal.

If you want affordable goods....

Even at a union shop like the UAW that provides very good benefits and wages for its workers, labor costs only make up about 10% of the total bill on the car. Also, while GM's CEO was paid a 15 million dollar salary in 2007, the entire 37 member executive leadership team at Toyota was paid 22 million.

Actually, one of the things that's killing GM is the huge abundance of models and brands.

Does GM make TVs?
I know they make cars, big cars. I knew someone who lived in one once. Him, his wife, four kids, the in-laws, two cousins and a Jack Russell called Popsy and they still had room for a skating rink, an orchard and a herd of cattle. Mind you I reckon that was because someone had moved the steering wheel to the wrong side!
