Maybe they can cut school lunches for k-6 kids, and cut medicare for grandma and stop repairing roads and bridges and quit buying salt for the roads in the winter and do we really need libraries and post offices and lower the taxes on the rich so they will create jobs and.... ahhh fuck it. The longer the radical right has a say in this country the closer we get to violence, confrontation and civil unrest. Its their plan to reduce this country to a 3rd world country and subdue the people thru force, violence and poverty.

because he did not say that. idiot. i would think the concept is fairly simple, someone says person A says X and then person B says, that is a lie. not to hard for intelligent people to figure that out.

Except Cantor DID say what is claimed...

"When there's a disaster there's an appropriate federal role and we will find the monies," Cantor said during a news conference in Mineral, Va. "But we've had discussions about these things before and those monies will be offset with appropriate savings or cost-cutting elsewhere in order to meet the priority of the federal government's role in a situation like this."

“We aren’t going to speculate on damage before it happens, period,” his spokesperson Laena Fallon emails. “But, as you know, Eric has consistently said that additional funds for federal disaster relief ought to be offset with spending cuts.”
