Purported Gadhafi message: Don't 'surrender' Tripoli

ripoli, Libya (CNN) -- Another purported audio message from Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi surfaced Thursday, with the speaker exhorting his followers to fight back and not "surrender Tripoli."

"Tripoli is for you, men and women. Go out, go out and free Tripoli. Destroy them wherever they are, fight them. Let the crowds from everywhere march to Tripoli," the speaker said.

This comes as a rebel commander told CNN that fighters battling tenacious Gadhafi supporters in Tripoli believe the longtime strongman might be holed up in a cluster of buildings near his compound.

it is over. as we all already know. a desperate message from a desperate man. trying to invoke quran type language isn't going to help him.

he lied about the shovels, they didn't destroy the shovels, they confiscated those and used them to dig saddam's hiding place ;)

got no clue. I like the funny one. Saddam's Information Minister was the one with all the good quotes. 2 tanks? Their shovels? LOL. I still laugh when I read or watch a clip...
