Sharia law in the United States...

If a Muslam American landowner leases his private property to a Mosque and one of the terms of that lease are that in as much as is consistant with the law of the United States of America and the State of (the state where the land is located) Sharia law shall be followed on the land and in all business conducted on that land....

Should an American Court be allowed to uphold an attempted eviction of the Mosque for failing to follow Sharia law that did not conflict with the laws of the land?
 
as long as the sharia law does not conflict or violate any US law, then yes. it is just like putting non religious CCR's in HOA's.
 
I agree.... but thats all that the screaming about Sharia law has been comming from!

no it isn't...there has actually been a case where the judge ruled using sharia law, it was later overturned because it was in conflict with american law. you should really not just spout off talking points without understanding the issue.

1) False.
2) A judge would have to use Sharia law to determine if the Contract were void or not.

what is false?

he can use whatever the parties agree on so long as it does not conflict or violate any us law. if a section of sharia law is illegal, then said section could not be used to determine the validity of the contract. you're missing the point here jarod, sharia law really is not being used in the court to determine the validity of the contract, sharia law is only the TERMS of the contract, not the law of the contract. the law is still US law. the sharia parts are merely the terms.

i've actually linked it a couple or more times on this board already. what i said is, when you start reciprocating and backing up YOUR claims, then i will have no problem giving YOU a link. you're really pulling the intellectual dishonesty out here full steam as you routinely fail to back up your claims when asked. you call others liars for not doing so, say they can't....yet you won't hold yourself to the same standard.

all you have to do is tell me that you will back up your claims, i'll take it on good faith. once you do, i will provide the link, again.
