London Riots

I wonder how long it'll take for riots to come here. America is a huge fucking country, it's not as condensed as the U.K. Still, the dissent (that I've seen and heard) is palpable.

This could be the dawn of the Twitter Riots (bit of a shit name though).

How about iPhone insurrection?

IT is good to see that both of you (charver and tom) are okay, is it near you, I don't keep track...

Did you see those drunk chicks... "It's all those people's fault who own the businesses..." as they were walking out of a pub all stanky drunk...

Detroit is over due. Other than LA, I cant imagine it happening in the US........ although the dems do like to stoke the flames of class warfare.

Now i'm not one to claim i'm an inner-city dwelling cove dealing with the constant harassment of the 'Feds'. I'm just a normal bloke who'd expect to be battered senseless if i smashed my way into a local shop to get a free telly or a pack of stellas.

I've often complained about the willingness of the police to whip out their batons at peaceful protests, striking chaps who are posing no threat and walking away, that type of thing. I've also witnessed what The Clash described as 'the ring of that truncheon thing' following lower league football. So it's a bit baffling that at this time, when there's universal support for some 'heavy-handed policing' and some real actual violence and criminality to respond to they come over all sheepish, seeming to stand about and watch.

I appreciate London is CCTV'd up to the eyeballs and a whole host of people are going to get the early morning knock, in the coming weeks, to be met with a stony faced judge who will be instructed to hand down sentences well in excess of the norm. But this can't continue.

So here you are policemen everywhere - you've got carte blanche to start fucking people up. Most people will even buy you a pint afterwards.

Hopefully, they kill you all.

With all the taxation that buys free services in the UK the poor still want more? We have posters wishing to abolish the only economic class that holds their economy together? This is the kind of fomenting that leads to violence... Class warfare is a Trojan horse in a socialistic democracy. The problem the poor have in the UK, is, that they are without hope of rising out of the mediocre economic quagmire created by huge tax burdens. Tax burdens they opened up their arms to for free services...now they feel the chains.

Ahhh, the voice of reason and understanding...

is totally absent from this post.

Hoodies have scant interest in politics, they want to steal as much as possible.

Many are on the dole. Do they want to work?
