I'm someone that can use proper English, and someone who can ridicule those that can't. I'm not that politically savvy that I understand or approve of every policy dedision. Can you defend the policies of the Republican and Tea Parties?

I don't try, and I especially wouldn't try by pointing out spelling errors. I'll explain policies I agree with, and ridicule policy I disagree with regardless of which party they come from. Now, the TEA Party has no policies, first they need actual power before they'll have those, in order to get that they'd need a political party, a platform, etc. They are not a political party at all, they are a grass roots movement. Now the republican party has a platform, one which I do not agree with wholly. I feel no need to defend things I don't agree with.

Now that it's a black man calling the shots, the batshit crazy right, which consist of mostly conservative whites, have lost their friggin minds. And who tied the raising of the debt ceiling to the budget deficit? Unprecedented. The right has such a short memory. Reagan pronounced not raising the debt ceiling as unthinkable...but conventional wisdom flies out the window when the President is a black man. It's pure race, and has absolutely nothing to do with policy.

You clearly weren't here, almost every republican here listed it first as things they hate about Bush. His overspending was irresponsible, this President's is insane. Reagan was never close to 100% of GDP in debt, we're there now. It is absolutely insane to continue on the path that guarantees a downgrade, but this President has no plans other than "spend more"... Immediately after that "deal" passed he was already promising more spending and pretending he was suddenly interested in actually getting people jobs... (as if he hadn't been interested in it before and made promises how his previous stimulus would save a zillion jobs and we'd never be above 8% or anything...).

How can you be so stupid and the head of this forum , is beyond me. The Tea Party most certainly has policy and agenda. They just executed it, by holding the Nation hostage, by proxy, through the Republican Party, to insure that cuts to entitlements was the core to dealing with the deficit, while insisting that no taxes be raised. They were willing for the U.S to default to get their way.
Didn't you hear McConnell thanking the Tea Party the other day, and Boehner gloating????????????? Why do I bother?

On the contrary, the Republicans are insane...this president is the best thing since JFK. I wasn't here????????????? WTF? Where was I? I've been watching politics since Eisenhower, and first voted in '72 for McGovern. The Bush tax cuts, providing tax breaks for the wealthy is what is insane.
