TEA party terrorists

So one editorial in the NY Times is "everywhere?" And why is this interesting? The hostage metaphor was in pretty wide circulation and given the fervor that the extreme right-wing has for Draconian spending cuts and the damage they are willing to inflict on the economy to get them, jihad is pretty spot on.

1) Yes, when it appears in the Times and the Time is followed religiously by Democrat lemmings everywhere... yes... it is everywhere....

2) But here is another example of the hateful violent rhetoric of the left..... http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0711/60202.html

I can't speak for all liberals, but the targeting and "don't retreat, reload" stuff bothers me because extreme right-wing gun nut freaks, the intended audience, are crazy people. I understand that they are metaphors, but the intended audience may not.

"because extreme right-wing gun nut freaks, the intended audience, are crazy people"

In other words, the lefties are sane, rational people who understand metaphors. But the righties are dangerous, crazy and don't understand metaphors?

That is exactly what he's saying. And funny the implication there are no left wing gun nuts. I mean all those right-wing gun nuts committing murders in our nations cities proves that.

I think this is incredibly naive nonsense and shows an credulity that is beyond foolish. This would be like saying, "I think this rhetoric is dangerous because most gang members in inner cities are liberals, who are the targeted audience, and they all tend to believe this rhetoric."

It's utter nonsense. Everybody understands the metaphor, even you. Maybe you should pile on more hypocrisy, it makes you look secksi.

'Draconian spending cuts'?????? ROFLMAO.... tell us genius... how much is total US government spending going to be cut in the next decade?

I'll save you the time... it isn't being cut. They cut the RATE of growth... so don't worry, your idiots in DC will still be able to outspend revenue to the tune of $7 Trillion over the next decade.... but yeah, those small cuts are draconian.

Bottom line, you once again demonstrate that you will defend Democrats regardless of how utterly moronic they behave.

They cuts they wanted were Draconian. The cuts they got aren't the cuts they wanted.

No, there are left-wing gun nuts but they understand metaphors. That's why I provided the modifier "right-wing." If I thought there were no left-wing gun nuts I would have just said "gun nuts" without the modifier as the modifier would have been redundant surplussage.

So, in your esteemed opinion, left wing inner city dropout gun nuts are capable of understanding metaphors, when the average person on the right cannot?

Say it ain't so, Joe. Looks like ole Joe needs another craniotomy. I suppose most of the young twerps around here don't even know Joe has been caught twice for plagiarism, once in college and once when he ran for President in 1992. Keep talin' Joe. You're pure gold.

Again... link us up to the plan that you are referring to.... thanks....

I don't thin think the Tea Party caucus actually put out a plan. If they did, I would link to it. They wanted to balance the budget overnight, which would require Draconian cuts.

So in other words.... there was no plan, you are simply harping on 'draconian cuts' of a hypothetical fantasy plan? Ok.... thanks for clarifying.
