Deal Reached, Crisis and Default Avoided... Downgrade inevitable.

Well done. You will soon be awarded the seal of the 'Magic Underwear' and entry into the Mormon church will be automatic.
How long have you been running scared?

more idiocy from you?

tell me something, please.

why is it that you morons feel that dependency on government is mandatory, and that anyone who strives for and fulfills their individual responsibility for self sufficiency is 'running scared'?

can you retards answer that?

of course you don't get it, your a old dumbass

You said, 'europeans know all too well what junk debt it, we are trying to pass on that kind of party'

Guess I must be. However I do know that there is a capital E on Europeans, that 'it' following 'debt' makes no sense and that 'pass on' in your sentence has two quite different meanings.

Just the thoughts of an old dumbass who knows that as a bull it is better to walk down the hill and screw the herd than running down the hill and screwing a single cow.

Sure. Because a democratic government is a government of the people and therefore serves the people. You have never had a democracy in America so I am not surprised you had to ask.

thank you for the bullshit strawman answer, but you didn't address my question specifically.

how long have you seen me posting on here? Do you not think that i've already got a full storeroom of food and water for the time when it all falls apart because idiot liberals demand more spending of money we don't have and can't afford?

A secret alphabet agency of the tyrannical government has obtained these shocking images of SmarterThanFew's survivalist bunker in the suburban fastness of the DFW metroplex...

It seems pretty clear that the TEA folks are not economists.

I don't really get this package. I don't get why loopholes that only the wealthy can generally take advantage of were off the table. I don't get the sense in massive cuts now while the economy is still floundering.

It all seems pretty crazy; our gov't just isn't functional anymore...

Outside of Paul Krugman who does an orgasm dance for spending greater than taxes, most economist think long term spending WAY over money coming in is BAD.

The deal reached Sunday was worse — much worse — than what Obama put on the table in July, when he offered to alienate big chunks of his support base in return for a deal that might chop $4 trillion in spending.

Yes, he wanted some concessions in return — an agreement to reduce some corporate tax breaks, on the principle that corporate America could live with that if elderly Americans were expected to live with less money and fewer medical benefits.

Boehner — who was considered a conservative Republican until the Tea Party came along — didn’t seem to think that was an outrageous idea, and initial signs were that he and Obama could work out some kind of mutually beneficial agreement.

Except that Boehner had his knees cut off. The bargaining became a question of how weak the pact would have to be before the Tea Partiers could bring themselves to pass it.

Washington’s reliability as a borrower became a giant game of Russian roulette, with the Tea Party faction making clear they were quite willing to let the country put a bullet through the economy as long as they could all die without anyone paying a cent more in taxes.

it seems pretty clear that you aren't an expert on TEA folks.

we original TEA folks are not supporting this crappy ass bill, so don't presume to think that just because the republicans got a compromise, that we endorsed it.

How much money did we spend on TARP? How much on the Stimulus? How much to bail out the auto makers? How much on health care? Seems to me, spending trillions on top of trillions is not doing much to HELP the economy. For two years, we've spent money faster than we can print the damn stuff, and the economy continues to suck! So the problem with the economy is NOT related to how much money the government is spending. If anything in the world proves that, it would be the past two years of Obama policy. Our government has spent more in two years than it spent in the previous 200 years combined, and the economy has only gotten worse.

LOL, after the "No true Scotsman" fallacy failed the right when they denied that Breivik is a Christian, they dusted it off to use in the budget debate.

Now the Teatards in the House aren't "original TEA folks"?

Ludicrous. And you aren't taxed enough already, liars. Effective tax rates - Google it.

Looks like the Dems finally came on board with the president and GOP to go with a plan... votes are still pending, lots of unhappy folks... but they seem to have resolved the impasse for now.

Reportedly, the deal is all cuts, a trillion over 10 years.. with 'triggers' to be dealt with later on other cuts. Tax increases for the 'wealthy' are off the table, and apparently have been all along. Reforms in tax deductions and subsidies, as well as entitlement reform and military cuts, are all to be dealt with at a later time. It raises the debt ceiling dollar for dollar in spending cuts, which fulfills Boehner's pledge to conservatives.

The Bad News is... it will not stave off a downgrading. They have already indicated our cuts would have to be $4 trillion, to avoid a downgrading, this is why CC&B, Paul Ryan, and Obama's attempt, all came out to $4 trillion in cuts. With Socialist Progressives in power, we were lucky to get $1 tril.. But when the downgrading comes, what do you wanna bet they spin this to blame it on Republicans?

Tell me when this downgrade will come so I can point out how miserably wrong you are once again!

Remember when WMD were going to be found in Iraq.

Most likely before the end of the year....

The compromise is smoke and mirrors and passing is not a sure bet.....
