Growth in gross domestic product—a measure of all goods and services produced within U.S. borders—rose at a 1.3 percent annual rate, the Commerce Department said.

First-quarter output was sharply revised down to a 0.4 percent pace from 1.9 percent.

Economists had expected the economy to expand at a 1.8 percent rate in the second quarter.

In addition, fourth-quarter growth was revised down to a 2.3 percent pace from 3.1 percent, indicating that the economy had already started slowing before the high gasoline prices and supply chain disruptions from Japan hit.

According to polling data I've seen - most people want Congress to pass the debt ceiling increase, reduce the deficit by cutting spending and raising revenues, and more blame the GOP and Bush than blame Obama.

Sad, but this is what the politics of this country has devolved to. The only fortunate thing is many won't be around to really witness the final fall to our knees, but somewhere in the background the George Soros' of this country will be patting themselves on the back as we all march to the local bread and milk lines for our weekly government allotment.

So, somehow it is Obama's fault that the Tea Party house spends all it's time on bills which cannot pass?

It is Obama's fault that too much manufacturing has left the country and that unions are being beaten down by capaitalists?

That the banks will not lend to small business and the huge corporations are hoarding cash and down pressing wages which could/would be spent?

Sorry to tell you, but he's going to get elected again. The globalists are too close and he's the perfect tool to make the transition to full world government. So many people are totally snowed by this guy , it's just obvious that he'll get the diebold count
