Juan Williams wife~

I played baseball as a young man. We had team players who came from all walks of life and they all had their own opinions. It's called freedom. Lefties claim to be tolerant and inclusive, but the fact is the left is full of peer pressure to conform and regulate speech. Any deviation from the script will bring big brother down on you like a hammer. Juan found that out. Ever hear of David Mamet? Check him out and read about his conversion.

If NPR is "neutral", then why did the fire Juan Williams for giving his opinion?

I agree. There are so many on the right I find offensive in so many ways. Ron Paul? He's backed by racists and xenophobes. Numerous posters that claim to be on the 'right' are actually either far left or anarchists. It seems to me that many agree with me.

On the left? See no split in the heils. They are in lockstep.

Michael Moore is a con man and anyone who takes him seriously probably believes wrestling on TV is for real also.

Then you go into your rabid left wing spew and for the topping you pull out the race card. So predictable and so sad. I suggest you stay on the porch with the house dogs. You're not quite ready for the big dog yet.

I agree. He's the left's Rush Limbaugh, without the clarity.

Hey, if he's ok with Keith Olbermann, he's alright with me. And I'd buy into one of his "propaganda pieces" before anything touted by the Tea Party or the Republican Party. Are you kidding? LOL.
Every day, something falls out of the mouth of a Republican or "bagger", that makes you run for a stiff drink or Advil.

And here I thought you might be something other then a sheep.
I'm so disappointed.

Other than a sheep? Why would you think that I'm a sheep? I listen to CNN, MSNBC and Current TV. I subscribe to Judges Joe Brown, Milian, and Judy. I watch the View, Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O'Donnell, and even Joe Scarborough. I read the NYT, the Huffington Post, the Daily Kos and watch the local news. I'm displeased with Washington D.C., but love it's vibrancy and relevance. And you think I'm a sheep????????????????????? Sad for you.

So you don't like diversity of opinions. Neither does NPR. This is what America used to be all about. Americans used to take pride in our diverse cultures and opinions but not any more thanks to people like this.

What a stretch..to say that NPR, because they saw the conflict and double standard in Juan Williams, fired him and that implies that they don't like the diversity of opinions. How naive and pedestrian.
You already railed against me because of my race and sexual orientation. You can't discuss diversity, with any credibility.

Another troll slithers out of the woodwork. This guy's no poet and we certainly know it.

Engage ejector button.

Troll? I suggest you look in the nearest mirror. And as far as me being "no poet"...why am I being considered for poet laureate of Houston, Tx.? And the mayor is Annise Parker, too? Please..
We have a spare minute...why don't you tell us all you do know.

What you call a "double standard" and "conflict" is actually called "freedom of speech". He didn't tow the party line so they fired him. It's not that difficult to see unless you're an indoctrinated sheep like you have already admitted.

I'm being considered for "The most interesting man in the world". Did I ever tell you about the time I won the Indy 500. Then there was the time I was stalked by Jennifer Lopez. That woman would just not leave me alone.

Delise Williams, Juan Williams wife, says that she and Juan were the only blacks at NPR parties, a point confirmed by Juan. In general, both say, African-Americans were found only in low level jobs such as security guards.

“The NPR people were hypocrites because they are supposed to be the liberals who are accepting of all kinds of people and inclusive, and they were the most exclusive group in my experience of going to events related to work that I have ever seen,” says Delise, a former social worker who is the daughter of a doctor.

Yeah way to go NPR!

Of course there will be no hurling of accusations of racism at NPR~

Is Juan Williams that Token on Fox?

the dud....of course took the bait....he is the same typical liberal who will point out that the gop is a racist, out of touch party because they are mostly white....but....if the organization or group is liberal and mostly white....that is perfectly normal

Ron Paul is backed by racists and xenophobes?

I find that hard to believe.

Try reading up on the founding of this country.

Start with "Common Sense" and everything you can find on Paine, Jefferson, Madison, and Franklin.

You'll get a better understanding of what the fight's all about.

No. He couldn't make up what side of the fence he wanted to be on. He flirted with "the devil", and the devil "seduced" him, and he succumbed. You want to make it seem that NPR should have allowed him his adultery, with no repercussions. But, alas, this is not Cinderella, nor Sleeping Beauty. And the tale does not have a happy ending. I understand what you're trying to do...but I'm not the one to ply your trade to.

so you are the one to say what side of the fence he is on? because if you can claim he couldn't make up his mind....then what makes you the expert on fences? is there a bright line?

I think not. But jealousy is a typical response. I responded to someone doubting me as my ID distinguishes me. Don't hate, appreciate. There is no need to prop yourself up, to compete with me. Be happy with your lot in life. I know it's hard for you to imagine any black achievement...but you only have to look to the President of the United States, who began his career as a humble community organizer...and can now laugh at those who ridiculed him for it.

why pick the username 'poet'?

Yes...he was a liberal shill for NPR...and a scapegoat and patsy for Fox News. Even you should be able to fathom it.

I grew up with the Great Books of the Western World, World Book and Encyclopedia Brittanica. My understanding is quite astute.
I'm quite familiar with you from another forum. Duh.

Hey, Poet, what do you think of my Bosoms Sonnet, which I wrote in Shakespeare Class when I was 17:

A heavenly complexion, never dimmed,
Did never take a lady—until thee:
When mighty bosoms, that with magic trimmed,
Were mounted on thy chest for men to see.
They are thy gift, concealed in silken cuff.
A prize I need and did’st for so long seek—
And sight that tears mine eyes in gaze so tough—
With tips: Where beauty’s meaning meets its peak.
Unhinge them hang, so I may with them play,
Thy teeming mounds of wondrous shapely flair,
And in my urgèd care do let them stay.
Thou fair’st of fair, could ne’er a woman fare:
To me, come thee, whose bosoms none can match.
Unfathomed luck to me, if I them catch.

It sounds like you trust a slave master with your rights.

I don't.

That's why I brought up Cuba.
