Okay for Obama, really? I remember conservatives were all up his tush for sending the girls to Sidwell, and that includes some on this forum.
The selective outrage and subsequent mass amnesia is strong.
Can you imagine the pained diatribes we'd have seen if Obama answered a constituent's question about his kids the way Christie did?
It doesn't include me, The Ultimate Conservative.Okay for Obama, really? I remember conservatives were all up his tush for sending the girls to Sidwell, and that includes some on this forum.

They voted for him.
The slobbering over Christie is really weird. People in New Jersey ain't too keen on him.
Yes they elected him but I'm not surprised that a pretty heavy Democratic leaning state doesn't like him all that much. You throw in the fact that many Republicans aren't all that excited at the moment about its current Presidential candidates and you have the recipe for how Christie is gaining somewhat of a fanbase.

I think it's more that Christie is an asshole and Republicans love assholes. But governing as an asshole won't make you many friends.
My guess is you are calling Republicans assholes because you don't like their policies, especially those towards the lower class. And I don't think any politician that makes cuts in spending is going to be all that popular but I do think you can earn the voters respect for doing what needs to be done.
For me personally I do not like the East Coast in your face fast talking style that many people living there have. It's why I do not like the shows of people like Hannity, Savage and Olbermann. It's not my style. But for some reason (so far) I do like Christie's style even though he possesses some of those traits.
I didn't say Republicans are assholes. I said Christie is an asshole and Republicans like assholes. And it's not just me that doesn't like Christie, its his constituents:

about the same number who don't like obama....interesting
Actually, it's not about the same number. Christie's favorability rating is 43%, while 53% view him unfavorably. Obama's favorability rating is pretty much flip-flopped with about 53% having a favoable view of him and 44% having an unfavorable view. In other words, Christie's net favorability rating is -10 while Obama's is +9. Those two numbers are not "about the same."
what a hack
