Republicans who don’t like the current conservative entrants in the presidential race may soon have another option.

Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., says he is thinking about joining the fray.

He says he will pray about the decision.

Now praying is bad? lol Not much on freedoms, are you?

Thanks, but since I didn't lie, spend your prayer time on more important things.

Since it's clear that I never said that "praying is bad", thou hast sinned.

I asked Jesus to forgive you for lying.

He sent this vision for for to ponder:

It is equally clear that I never said you did. I asked if that is what you meant. You chose to get all pissy instead of answering a question.

But I'm sure Jesus will forgive you for bearing false witness against me. Of course, since this isn't the first time you have done this.......

Jesus sees into your heart.

He knows.

Not much on truth, are you?

There is an interesting piece of punctuation known as the "question mark". It looks like this: ?

You might have noticed other people placing it at the end of questions.

No untruth here from me. I asked a couple of questions, and you refused to answer and mistakenly called them statements.

You can't fool Jesus with weasel tricks. He sees, He knows.

Praying about a decision? Yes, it is bad. He's certainly free to do so but personally, I'd prefer it if he THINKS about a decision. As far as I'm concerned, if he's not holding public office then he's free to pray his empty little head off.

I doubt he is waiting for a sign from on high. Many people pray about decisions. If you don't believe in God, then he is meditating on the question.

I doubt he is expecting a burning bush.

Damo, I understand that you want to allow people to express themselves, and want this place to be free to follow whereever the members take it.

But if the point is political discussion, there should be some structure. If it is meant to be a magnet for trolls and people with anger issues, it has succeeded.

Wouldn't it be better to have the board be like "Above Plain Politics Forum", and have a single forum for all the trolls and bickering?

Mott is curiously intrigued by this "Burning Bush" you speak of....is he wearing his jeans and cowboy boots?
