Yeah, its hard to argue with people who proclaim the south is ignorant when our states (and people) keep doing stuff like this.

But then, Tennessee is the same state that passed legislation so that teachers could not use the word "gay".

Primarily due to illegal immigration. Mississippi, Alabama, etc... aren't really growing because they don't have that problem. California isn't growing that fast currently, but that's primarily due to the fact that it was at the center of the housing boom.

I love living in the south. I will travel other places, but my home will always be down south.

That said, we still have plenty of people down here who seem happy to prove the old stereotypes true.
 
The south is getting less great, we have assholes like Damn Yankee moving down. This non man card carrier (he lost it proclaiming he's anti blow job even from his wife). He is self proclaimed hated by all his neighbors.

The yankees moving south is what ruined Atlanta. The worst ones are the ones who claim to be southerners after living here for a few months. lol
