I think we had a thread here about 2 years ago about a city bus driver making about 100 ger

Paying people with shitty jobs unemployment for extented time off is ludicrous.

You don't think what has happened in the Middle East can't happen here? Just hide and watch, many more people get to the place where they are desperate and it will get ugly. Yes, it is a typical libby response because I care for the poor.

Like anybody else would by changing spending habits to save up money to cover the week. They can, of course, get UE for the summers as well, but that shouldn't be a permanent solution for anybody. UE benefits should be for people who are not quite so employed.
 
Nobody is starving in the US, not even the chronically unemployed.

luv ya, but economics is not your strong suit. If people without jobs are not starving, how is eliminating near fulltime workers unemployment going to lead to starving.
We can't have a legitimate talk with the right about cuting military and gestapo jails if we can't see how the left contributes to the 14 trillion bill we are passing to our grandkids.

I don't know economics, but I do know history, so, let's eat cake! and see what the future brings to the USA! if you guys get your way...
