It may be true the waterboarding lead to osama bin laden's capture. That does not make waterboarding any less offensive. Pulling out the persons fingernails could also lead to good information but it would still be torture. As I have said repeatedly, if you don't think waterboarding is torture do it to your grandmother and see if she felt like she was dying. We are better than that and should not resort to such barbaric acts. The ends do not justify the means.
