Obama, of course, is trying to best his Canadian counterpart by simply urging the American people to do nothing in the case of radioactive fallout. Don't worry, my little consumer sheeple, you don't need to prepare in any way whatsoever, Obama says from his nuclear fallout shelter that's stocked with 10 years of food, water, emergency medical supplies, government ammunition and military communications equipment. It's okay for the President to prepare for emergencies, I guess. Just not YOU.

What the fuck is up with Tinfoil, that article is so uninformed it is a total travesty. I 131 has a half life of 8 days so it has virtually completely decayed within 2-3 weeks. 10,000 tonnes sounds like a lot but it is being dumped into the biggest and deepest ocean in the world, it is just a piss in a bucket.

I never ever thought that Tinfoil and TCL would become idealogical buddies.

I'm refuting the opinion of your source, which is long on rhetoric and short on substance, and also does not refute the evidence Tom presented earlier.

But since you made the inquiry... the rise of safe radiation levels could come for any number of newly discovered reasons. It does not simply imply that the government of the United States is OPENLY TRYING TO KILL YOU as you try to assert.

personally, I think it is far too early to be making such statements given the contamination has not stopped and the reactor is still not under control. The 'evidence' is extremely preliminary.
