Wis. Dems to return after Senate strips bargaining

Well they are FREE to find new non union work to raise their pay above slave wages. Isn't that the right's response to the schoolteachers, nurses and public employees?

If that were true, then WHY DIDN'T Walker shout that he would strip collective bargaining rights from public employees during the campaign, instead of not whispering a peep about it?

And the capital would be filled with Walker supporters.

If the union workers don't like it, let them go find a better job. (You have things backwards as usual.)

I'm under the impression that he (Walker) did talk about the run away unions.

Walker supporters? Where were the multitude pro Obamacare people?

Now a union worker can tell the union boss to stick it. "I don't want my money going to Marxist polititians".

You are nothing but a right wing hack Yurt. You look like one, and you quack like one.

simple enough?

And you're a Marxist, as many on this site see you.

......Walker never uttered a single word about stripping collective bargaining rights from public unions...WHY? Because the voters would have booted his ass and elected the Democrat. So Walker was intellectual dishonesty and your support of him is just more proof you're a hack.

Here's proof YOU'RE a hack!

From Scott Walker's campaign website:

School districts must be given the tools to reduce the burden on property taxpayers by sharing resources, pooling purchasing power, contracting for services, expanding the use of technology like online learning, and even voluntarily merging, when appropriate. Meanwhile, parents should have the ability to scrutinize spending decisions which is why I will facilitate local efforts to post expenditures online just as I have done in Milwaukee with the county budget.

The Qualified Economic Offer (QEO), which helped hold down local school costs for more than 15 years, will be restored and tied to revenue caps to align each district’s expenses with their revenues. Mediation and arbitration changes will also be needed to ensure that local economic factors are considered along with other common sense factors when arbitrating teacher contracts. And we can save more than $68 million per year by allowing school districts to enroll in the state health care plan.

We must also examine the mandates placed on school districts by the state, particularly those that are unfunded, and consider freeing districts from as many as possible. Untying the hands of local administrators will free them to innovate and find even more savings.

Now, as you can plainly see, Walker does indeed utter a single word, in fact he utters several words, regarding the practice of collective bargaining and negotiation of teacher's contracts. This is what he RAN on! The people elected him, KNOWING he was going to do what he did! YOU are the one who is trying to MISLEAD people into believing otherwise.

Arbitrary power is most easily established on the ruins of liberty abused to licentiousness.
George Washington

For you and the right wing wolves, there was no need for Walker to be honest, moral or ethical...just as long as there is an (R) next to his name and people other than your beloved wealthy are punished and pushed down.

What's the matter fucktard, you seem to be stuttering! Rambling on with more mindless propaganda from your left-wing shit mills. I don't need to read it, I posted the mans own words from his campaign website! You want to know what Scott Walker ran on, go read it for yourself, it's right there in black and white. The people voted him into office to do precisely what he did, and I am quite sure that even George Washington would agree with, as a consequence of the election, if not in general principle. I am positive FDR would side with Walker, he said so specifically, regarding collective bargaining for government workers. I know you pinheads love you some FDR... go read what your man said about it! Even HE understood you're stupid beyond belief!

What Walker ran on is not 'precisely what he did' To be THAT extreme in your defense of Walker just tells me that my premise is true. There is no moral or ethical argument with you people on the right who have neither. What happened in the streets of Madison and the State house tells me a huge group of Wisconsin citizens were lied to, deceived and steamrolled. Your premise is they should just lay down in the street and let the tanks crush them.

These are people's lives, schoolteachers and nurses who have invested in their profession with money for college degrees and with their dedication to leave a better community behind for our children. They are not greedy and they are not lazy. But people like you who 'profess' they want limited government suddenly love government that is dictatorial, harsh and punitive.

This bring us back to my original question a bunch of threads ago. You talk about the 'people'. Well the 'people' have the right to be told the truth. Walker never uttered a word about stripping the collective bargaining rights of public workers during his campaign. So he LIED to gain power.

Unless he stated during the campaign that he WOULD NOT reform collective bargaining, then he did not lie to gain power you twit.

I doubt you could find ANY politician who has restricted him or herself to doing only things they campaigned on.

Walker did campaign on fixing the budget in WI for the long term. That is what he is working towards.

You refuse to confront any moral issues, because you don't seem to have any morals. These schoolteachers, nurses and other public employees are not the cause of this problem, but they were willing to share the sacrifice.

For the 1 BILLIONTH time..... I NEVER... NOT ONCE.... said the teachers etc.... caused the economic problems we face. It is good they are finally willing to share in the sacrifice. But there is NO valid reason they cannot acquire better bene's or wage increases beyond inflation via a voter referendum instead of 'bargaining' with people they help put in office.

Walker never said he WOULD NOT use gas chambers either. So your ass licking of Republican despots continues. The man LIED, and 100,000 people showing up in Madison is not a reaction by hard working middle class people to a Republican winning an election. It is outrage over Walker's egregious lies and punitive edicts. He is union busting, something he didn't let the voters in on before the election. He refused to negotiate, even after unions agreed to meet al his 'fiscal' demands.

This is an attack on middle class workers, their families and public education.

If THAT is what you support, have the fucking spine to admit it you freak.

What you said or didn't say about schoolteachers is irrelevant. You are not standing up for their rights and you are cheering their punishment.

Ok moron.... WHAT did he LIE about?

This is an attack on middle class workers, their families and public education.

Funny... because he just protected the middle class workers and their families. He made sure the private sector taxpayers was no longer going to be subjected to the whims of unions and politicians. Now the raises have to come from the TAXPAYERS via referendum.

He also avoided the 1500 jobs that were about to be furloughed.

Wow... you truly are a fucking ignorant partisan hack aren't you?

When someone says 'you blamed teachers etc... for what happened' and I say 'no I didn't'.... then what I said about teachers most certainly DOES matter you halfwit.

Tell us moron... what punishment are you referring to?

The teachers still have a right to seek higher wages/bene's.... just via a different method.

So what is the punishment? That they can't bribe politicians anymore?
