If pot makes you NOT THINK then you obviously have a different experience on pot than most people do.


Because it does not make YOU think does not make that true for others.

DY is an engineer and is stuck with his sliderule. I would say that it's not helpfull to the day to day engineer or accountant. However, ask any musician or screenwriter if they write better stoned or not.

I feel bad about your own experience on pot, but for most people, it's mind-expanding. I wouldn't argue that chronic use has its pitfalls...

If "genious" means that they sold well, then you're right. But my argument is that pot makes the mind think illogically. Heck, look at Topspin for proof.
 
I don't have a problem with taxing marijuana, but this does not solve the root of the problem, which is out-of-control government spending. Simply taxing marijuana will not solve California/LA's budget crisis.

IF you got the riechwingers to stop the assinine war on poor people (they call it war on drugs). The explosion of prison populations started with the jailing of users in the Reagan years. That would slash spending.

Yes the feds will wait till a dozen more states approve medical and tons of cities decrim like New Orleans just did. By then they will make a grandiose gesture that is already adopted by the culture.
