Evil Rich Old White guy rallies Wis. pro-union protesters

I hear more complaints from the right about a guy like Soros "buying everything" than any "rich old white guy" on the right.

And that's not even applying to protests.

Dumb thread.

what a dumbass....you don't hear the right bitching about soros skin color or his age...quite different from the lefts attack on old white people...but i'm not surprised you don't have the cognitive ability to understand the concept

must defend my party at all costs

You can't think of one example about the left complaining about a guy leading a protest simply because he's old & rich & white.

Thanks.

there are plenty of examples...and it is not just related to protests...you now have to lie and deflect in order to defend your party

why don't you man up and just admit the left is fucking stupid for bashing on old rich white guys when your party is full of them....you won't though, because that would mean you would have to admit you fucked up in this thread and since you never admit you're wrong, you will now dishonestly spin the night away

Plenty of examples?

Let's have one. One example of a guy leading a protest getting hazed by the left because he's rich & old & white.

One.

TFB for you, Yurtle old bean, go cry in your beer....it's not Mike Moore's fault that Gov. Walker royally f***ed up and rallied America to the domestic aspect of the PNAC agenda.

i'm not pissed at all. i'm just pointing out that the left is full of rich old white guys as well...and to play your liberal games, he is evil

LOL

btw...america isn't rallied in opposition to walker...thats pure fiction, par for the course for you though

As usual, Yurtle doesn't pay attention to what's going on around him. To date, there has been NO generalized "all old rich white guys are evil" mantras from the left...except the out of context quotes posted on WND, Newsbuster, NewsMax, and out of the mouths of Levin, Limbaugh, Crowley, Maulkin, etc.

The criticism against the efforts of toadies like Gov. Walker to strip the working class of collective bargaining rights and to hold them financially accountable for the mistakes of the wealthy points to specifics...like the Koch Brothers.

Again, our chuckling chowderhead Yurtle just can't stand the FACT that Walker was tricked into revealing his dastardly intentions to appease his Koch brother backer. So he wails and rails against Moore, who's done nothing like what Walker is doing in Wisconsin.

Laugh, clown, laugh.

Eh - I'm guessing you looked furiously for awhile, but couldn't find a thing.

Like I said: dumb thread.

LOL...where do you live? did you miss the 2008 election and the continued harping from the left about how the gop is a loser party because its full of rich old white guys

:palm:

like i said, you're stupid...i did not spend one second looking

its amazing how you claim others can't read when you can't comprehend a simple sentence where i tell you flat out i will NOT look for anything for you

you're just little hack onceler and you hate it when your own BS comes back and slaps you upside the head...you can't stand it

:)

As I stated, Yurtle old thing, the excerpts from the right wingnut media and neocon punditry doesn't cut it. YOU made a generalization that doesn't fit Moore, who has NOT used his wealth to ship jobs overseas, or impliment tax cuts for the wealthy, or strip workers of their collective bargaining ability.

You and folks with your mindset just can't BS away the FACT that Walker hung himself by his own words and actions.

My previous post stands, and Yurtle is just blowing smoke as usual. Laugh on, my clownish Yurtle!

Behold above...simply THE LATEST EXAMPLE of Yurt being the contrary little whiner we've come to know and love...LOL.

Really? Moore concluded that there is no connection between gun ownership and gun violence.

Maybe it's 'something else' STU?

What are you rambling about?

Moore's bowling for Columbine WAS a complete piece of propaganda bullshit. He tried to take the tragedy here and use it for his personal vendetta against the NRA. The 'documentary' was a mix of partial truths and a lot of fabrications.

Moore is and always will be a piece of shit for using what happened at Columbine to promote his propaganda.

how dare this rich, old white guy try to influence politics....liberals say this is bad....bad....not good....etc...etc...blah, blah

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_wisconsin_budget_unions_protest

imagine some rich white old conservative doing what moore is doing...but on the opposite side....the left would literally be screaming about rich old white guys and how they BUY everything

There are two rich, old white conservatives doing what Moore is doing and their name is Koch.

"A four-day Wisconsin bus tour to support Republican Gov. Scott Walker concluded Sunday with a Madison rally where final speaker Brian Schimming, a veteran Republican consultant, exhorted crowd members to return to their communities "and get loud now."

The rally, held in Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center, drew about 600 people, said Matt Seaholm, state director for the sponsoring group, Americans for Prosperity. The turnout was the largest on the 10-city tour, he said.

Americans for Prosperity is a Virginia-based group launched in 2004 with money from David and Charles Koch, the billionaire brothers whose financial support of Walker's gubernatorial campaign and alleged close ties to him have become part of the protest narrative."

I can see why slime like you would hate Michael Moore who exposes slime.

It is also interesting that when slime is exposed, slime always tries to turn the slime on the one who exposes the slime.

Michael Moore has more truth in one of his documentaries than all the right wing think tanks combined in the history of their slimy existence.

Here are the comments of a 20 year executive at CIGNA, one of the biggest health insurance cartels. He was head of corporate communications for CIGNA — the country's fourth largest health insurance company.

Altogether Potter spent nearly 2 decades playing for the side that has opposed health care reform from the Clintons forward: he sat on policy committees, crafted executive messages and cajoled the press.

Topic - Michael Moore's documentary SICKO

BILL MOYERS: So what did you think when you saw that film?

WENDELL POTTER: I thought that he hit the nail on the head with his movie. But the industry, from the moment that the industry learned that Michael Moore was taking on the health care industry, it was really concerned.

BILL MOYERS: What were they afraid of?

WENDELL POTTER: They were afraid that people would believe Michael Moore.

BILL MOYERS: We obtained a copy of the game plan that was adopted by the industry's trade association, AHIP. And it spells out the industry strategies in gold letters. It says, "Highlight horror stories of government-run systems." What was that about?

WENDELL POTTER: The industry has always tried to make Americans think that government-run systems are the worst thing that could possibly happen to them, that if you even consider that, you're heading down on the slippery slope towards socialism. So they have used scare tactics for years and years and years, to keep that from happening. If there were a broader program like our Medicare program, it could potentially reduce the profits of these big companies. So that is their biggest concern.

BILL MOYERS: And there was a political strategy. "Position Sicko as a threat to Democrats' larger agenda." What does that mean?

WENDELL POTTER: That means that part of the effort to discredit this film was to use lobbyists and their own staff to go onto Capitol Hill and say, "Look, you don't want to believe this movie. You don't want to talk about it. You don't want to endorse it. And if you do, we can make things tough for you."

BILL MOYERS: How?

WENDELL POTTER: By running ads, commercials in your home district when you're running for reelection, not contributing to your campaigns again, or contributing to your competitor.

Trump might pull a Perot and hand another election to a Democrat who would otherwise lose. Wouldn't that be awesome?
That's probably the biggest regret I have about having voted for Perot. He sucked up the independent vote and some how, some way right wingers have rationalized a mythology that he handed the 92 election to Clinton. Well I was there Damo and I voted for Perot and poll after poll after poll after that election showed that a slight majority of Perot voters would have voted for Clinton if they could not vote for Perot. I would have certainly have voted for Clinton cause, as nice of a patrician as G.H.W.B. was, the blue blood was completely out of touch with mainstream America and I would have certainly have voted for Clinton.
