Lets all think about this one real hard libtards. Hannity, Limbaugh and O'Reilly are all in private sector unions and not by choice. Public sector unions which are sucking the life out of this country, the taxpayers are paying for it.

NO the slimballs that made moves to underfund their pensions are to blame, politicians from both sides more than likely.

the latest meme from the right is that they like private sector unions but not public sector unions.

How funny is that one.

They will hate the proivate ones too as soon as they kill the rights of public employees.

Then they will deny they ever said the like private sector unions and will be all about killing them too.

Get ready for "private sector unions are killing corp profits and the ability of the US economy to compete". More pensions will be cut, lots if not most already have been.

Confirmed: Union-Bashing Right-Wing Media Stars Hannity, Limbaugh and O'Reilly Are AFL-CIO Union-Affiliated Members

In spite of their criticism of unions in Wisconsin, AlterNet has confirmed that leading right-wing pundits are American Federation Television and Radio Artists union members.

So... what you are saying is that you have no idea what the difference is between a public union and a private sector union?

Yo Superfreak, I got left out of the e-mail chain on this memo. If you received it please forward when you have the chance. Thanks.

When you look at the history of labor in this country who have the battles been again? Corporations, robber barrons etc. has it not? I think a lot of people who are not big union backers will at least acknowledge the need for unions and the good they did at a certain time in our history. Times change and our economy has changed. Less manufactoring, which was union heavy, and more tech/service oriented, non-union. Thus private sector union representation is below 10%.

Maybe I'm wrong here but has there been a big history in our country of the government f'ing its workers? I can't recall big rebellions by government employees. So I don't see this battle as the same thing.

THAT is the point that none on the left will address.

With all their bitching about Walker, I have asked repeatedly for them to tell us who it is the public unions are bargaining against.

They refuse. They simply ignore the questions and continue shouting....

'the Reps are da evilzzzzz'

WOW, that is rich, I wonder what their union leaders think of their commentary?

They are bargaining against their bosses, who should be the tax payer, but in cases like Scott Walker, it ends up being a politician(s) that overstep their bounds and the voters wishes.

I see it like being a family. My children use to negotiate with me on the rules. I can't imagine what it would have been like if I has said, no negotiating, all rules stand, no wiggle room.

I've watched the O'Reilly show maybe once in the past year and it was for 15 minutes or so last week and I wasn't in control of the remote. I guess I happen to catch an interesting time because the segment I saw was him talking about being a union member and what unions have done for the middle class. He did come down more on the side of Walker and the tax payers but he was sympathetic to the union protestors.

Now I'm not trying to say O'Reilly isn't a hypocrite but seeing that he admitted on air that he's a union member I'd find it very surprising if he was out denying it elsewhere.

He is a union member who doesn't need the unions, there is a difference between living pay check to pay check and being O'Reilly who has more money than is required for just living.

No Rana... they are not.

They are bargaining against the tax payer.

Every dollar increase they get comes either from the tax payer in the form of higher taxes or it comes from other state run programs. That is it. Period. It doesn't come from the politicians. Which again is the problem.

Well, you have your opinion and I have mine and that is why I will be on the Park Strip Saturday with my sign in support of the unions!

There is a huge difference between government fiscal impacts of public unions vs private sector unions. The government needs to be able to control its expenditures...period!

Though pivate unions have decimated manufacturing, which in the long run impacted state economies- they do not demand that tax payers take from their own mouths to feed the mouths of their workers...as Krauthammer pointed out public unions are a regressive entity.

It is not opinion Rana. It is a FACT. Public unions bargain against tax payers.

Not some corporation trying to keep more of the profits. The taxpayers.

If you watched their shows you would already be aware of O'reilly and Hannity union affiliation...they've talked about it on their shows for more that a month....don't listen to Limbaugh so I don't know if he mentioned his union ties on the air....
O'Reilly and Hannity certainly didn't keep it a secret....
