Is a compromise likely?

I wonder if you are prepared to believe anything that contradicts your prejudices.

Former Speaker Gingrich certainly made the remarks I attributed to him and they were widely reported.

While on Air Force One en route to DC from Israel after attending the funeral of assassinated Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, Gingrinch and Senator Dole were together. Senator Dole was a witness to what happened.

Gingrich said, in part "Every president we had ever flown with had us up front. You've been on the plane for 25 hours and nobody has talked to you and they ask you to get off the plane by the back ramp. You just wonder, where is their sense of manners? Where is their sense of courtesy?"

Gingrich told reporters that was "part of why you ended up with us sending down a tougher continuing resolution".

Former Senate Majority Leader Tom Delay described Gingrich's statement as "the mistake of his life".

lol, I believe the term for that is projection.....

he remarked on the lack of communication on a matter that needed to be discussed.....the left spun it as pettiness and the spin stuck, as so much of the left's spinning did in those years.....

Attempting to present documented facts to you seems to be wasted efffort.
