Let's start with the fact that the Kamel (UNSCOM) report came out in August 1995, years before Curveball was a blip on anybody's radar. So it's not like the info wasn't out there for anybody to investigate in the eight years before the war started.

If the UNSCOM report was investigated and found to be a lie, that would have been made public.

Kamel was a defector like Curveball, but Kamel was killed by Saddam for what he did.
