Sorry, but since I spent my whole life in Mass, redneck can and will always mean the same thing it has always meant here, literaly, one with a red neck.
Generaly speaking, it is a disparaging term implying that the recipient works outdoors, in other words is a manual laborer or at worst, un-edumucated.
I have no doubt that there is a deeper, darker, unholy definition which you would like to atribute to me. Fortunately, I care little of your opinion of me.
