The debate about what is happening in Wisconsin is, as expected, taking on partisan retorts that only serve to cloud the important issues. The questions that should be asked are actually rather simple:
Qst. One: Did Walker allow approximately $140 million tax breaks to large businesses earlier in January, thereby CREATING the appearance that the state would have a shortfall of just about the same amount in its budget ?
Qst.Two: One can safely argue that under previous administrations, unions of public/state employees got too much of a sweet deal.....Correcting this CANNOT be acheived by disallowing the issue from any bargaining between these same unions and state administrators. Does Wlaker have the unilateral "right" to dictate what unions can negotiate through collective bargaining ?
It is no secret that Walker was elected through the help of huge donations from wealthy businesses and, accordingly, his first priority as governor was to reward these same businesses through substantial tax cuts. The final question then arises:
"When is clear-cut bribery of an elected official get labeled exactly what it is...BRIBERY?"

Yes... Just lay down in the middle of the cereal aisle and start kicking and writhing in the floor, like you're having seizures! That is the 'tactic' Democrats seem to want to use these days. This is in place of democratic government, you see? It's the Democrats screaming... WE DON'T CARE! They don't give a shit that we are broke and are mortgaging our children and grandchildren's futures, they just want their STUFF! It's delusional denial on full display, topped off with a 2-year-old hissy fit in the cereal aisle for good measure!
I want every 'John McCain-type' GOPer out there to pay attention to this! Whenever you can't get your way, the solution is NOT to moderate your position, to reach across the aisle, or compromise on principles in order to effectively govern.... the answer is to do like the democrats and demagogue, obfuscate, or outright leave the fucking state and refuse to do your job! We need to take fucking lessons from the pinheads on how to govern as the minority! THIS is how you do it! THIS is how you get what you want 90% of the time, and refuse to give the other side anything the other 10%.
All the GOP Congressmen should just pack up and leave Washington, and say... Hey, we'll be back whenever Obama submits a balanced budget, and until then, I guess you can't pass any other legislation! To hell with debates and protocol and all that nonsense, right? Let's just lay down in the floor and start kicking and screaming until we get our way!
