So Jarod, where do you stand on support of Hugo Chavez and Castro? Because they're pretty liberal like yourself, thereby you're likely to support them unconditionally since all that matters is how liberal or conservative someone is apparently.

What I posted is true.

Clearly, a party who does not support democracy can still exist in a democracy. They might attempt to change the form of government, but that does not mean they cannot exist... and if the people support them, I belive they have that right.

They are not liberals, but I dont support them as they are not honestly elected by the people.

I could make an argument that OBL is the epitomy of a social conservative if you would like to go down that path.

If I was a social conservative I might care. But how are they not liberal? Government controls everything, and they have universal healthcare.

then why do you ask us to?....from what I have heard from interviews with Egyptian politicians the Muslim Brotherhood is unlikely to garner even 20% of the vote, why then are they being hailed as the spokepeople for the uprising?......

Jarhead, how can you so staunchly stand with the people of Egypt against tyranny, but you said the people of Iraq should have fended for themselves with Saddam? It's a bit of a double-standard, no? What makes Egypt different than Iraq?

No one "called for" the invasion of Iraq, it happened as a result of Saddam's non-compliance with UN resolutions. Has Jarhead (or any Democrat) called for a UN resolution against Mubarak?

This "stand with the people of Egypt" is what I am puzzled by... what does that mean, exactly? Is Jarhead willing to spill blood with them? Or is this just a bunch of words without meaning? In what way, is Jarhead willing to "stand with the people of Egypt" here? No, he certainly didn't call for an invasion, so what are we going to do if Mubarak doesn't want to leave? How is Jarhead prepared to "stand with the people" if that happens?

It's real easy to run you mouth and say a bunch of insincere bullshit, you guys do it everyday. This is no different. You don't give two shits about the people in Egypt or what happens to them, and you don't intend to do anything more than run your mouths and claim to support them, when you really don't give a shit.

Ugh, I would not support an invasion of Egypt.

I supported regeme change in Iraq, just not to be implimented by American lives and American taxpayers on the backs of the Iraqui people.
