why isn't jarod or any of the other lefties concerned about rhetoric now? what about consequences? don't death threats have consequences?

I do feel bad for Palin. I'm not a big fan, as people well know, but when I start feeling some sympathy for her, it's not a good sign for the people attacking her...
 
you can always tell the hacks and trolls....in a thread where a lefty gets death threats, what does onceler....cries like a baby about the where are the lefties....does he condemn the death threats? no. does he talk about how we should change our rhetoric? no.

the fact is, the left doesn't care if their side is vitriol. its clear, in all the threads posted these last fews days about violent rhetoric from the left, onceler has come in with snide comments, attacks etc...and no lefty has come in to bash the rhetoric, but put up right rhetoric....a 1000 posts about how evil conservatives

My first line was making fun of you - like, completely making fun of you, because that's what your endless parade of "where is the left now?" posts deserves. Actually, it probably deserves much less.

But my 2nd line was for reals. I do feel bad for her, and as I stated, when I start feeling sympathy for her, the people attacking her sure better worry, because that means a lot of people to the right of me - even in the moderate realm - are also feeling sympathy for her.

see...you just care about attacking, for no reason. i know it really pisses you off that i point out the truth. but for one who likes to point out others hypocrisy, you do it all the time, its hilarious that you want to make fun of someone else for doing so. maybe you should stop being a hack and calling out your side sometime....

Honestly, I don't see how you can type "where is the left now?" or some variation of that (or, something like "imagine if Bush had done this?"), without realizing a sense of self-parody.

Do I point out hypocrisy when I see it? Sure...but it's not some deranged crusade. It's not my raison d'etre on the board here.

Its the crusade against Sarah Palin that has been going on since McCain introduced her to the lower 48....non stop....without pause, without pity, without concern for her safety or her family's safety....

There is that reading thing again. As I said, I do it once in awhile; I don't do it constantly.

There is nothing wrong with pointing out hypocrisy. But when you try to do it with pretty much everything, basically most of the time - it kind of hurts the credibility.

you seemed concerned that palin's comments have consequences, yet you don't at all seemed concerned about death threats to palin....instead, you're deflecting with stuff from the right....

how typical, i don't think i've seen you once, in a thread about the LEFT's violent rhetoric, comdemn that rhetoric, or at best, condemn it without a "they do it toooooo"
