Actions have consiquences!!!

Just another obvious attempt to blame a politically different view by attempting to suggest they have promoted what we all know they did not.

Do you believe that emotionally based divisive rhetoric should be avoided only when it is from people with an opposing view or will you take your own advice and tone it down a bit?

Fair enough.

So I can condemn any liberals who have used inflammatory images and ideas, can you supply an example of a nationally-known liberal political figure using violent imagery or rhetoric that includes references to firearms?

I belive that considering our nations history, rhetoric against polititians using gun imagery should not be used and that to do so it irresponsable.

I belive that Palin will suffer a consiquence for what she did, I belive she will lose support by some who will consider her more radical than they would have.

So who will condemn the dem who talked about having a bullseye on certain districts where they were weak?

I didn't see any objections to those words.
You mean Daily Kos? Same Congressperson, bulls eye on her district... different leaning? I wonder if we can start thinking a bit more sanely and realizing that even that wouldn't get people to start shooting...

Yes, actually. I can provide one that put a target on the exact same congressperson from the left... it seems she wasn't left enough for some lefties...

Yet Kos gets a pass... Because when it happened you weren't quite as "shocked" about it.

You seem hostile...

This is the first I am hearing of Kos doing anything. Honestly I dont even know what Kos is....

Listen, had Bush been assassinated the Right would have been all over those who had thretened him or used irresponsable rhetoric against him.... I am sure of it... and rightfully so!

LOL. "seem hostile"?

You seem hypocritical.

Lets hear a calling out by jarod, low, bfgrn and christiefan et al. Let's see their spamming the interwebs with outrage linking the daily kos to the shooting yesterday by suggesting it's this kind of violent imagery and rhetoric that leads to these shootings...let's "level criminal charges" at the daily kos-even if "they won't stick".

That's because your liberal media was not outraged so how could you jump on the bandwagon? But you know now how about writing your congressman and give him a dose of your outrage over the daily kos using such violent rhetoric and imagery?

Or let's take a firm grip on reality.

I'm not into (nor do I think you are) this kind of "you did it so we should too" kind of stuff.

We need to step back and find out what happened and why, then we can start getting hysterical. My guess is, if it should continue this way, it will start with "blame the right", then a quick attempt at "gun control" and move into "See? This is why we need a colossal government-ran health care program, so nutjobs can be found BEFORE they shoot up the congresspeople!"

They'll move the goal posts as each piece of information becomes available.

I absolutely agree! It was hard however to resist taking out the mirror of hypocrisy~ Yesterday the majority of liberals who commented, or at least half ,did not partake in the Palin gun control crap. In fact they even called out those that did...but those that did partake deserved a small taste of their hypocrisy imo.

From my perspective that is not as bad as Palin's crosshairs. A bullseye can be derived from anything, cross hairs are only from guns.

But Id say whoever KOS is they should remove the bullseye.

Of course she's into that kind of stuff. She's made numerous posts stating I blamed Palin when I stated right from the beginning that first, I didn't blame Palin or the TP; second, I believe the shooter was mentally ill, and third, I don't think violent imagery has a place in political discourse.

She's a liar and a shit-stirrer, pure and simple.

What's really funny is watching righties tip-toe around all the written, photographed and videotaped examples of using violence to obtain their goals.

Of course that's your perspective-your kinds of perspectives are precisely why we have so much partisan bs politics.

Yet instead of coming into this thread and calling out the daily kos for the exact same kind of "violent imagery" you arrogantly railed against yesterday-you instead get up on your hypocrital high horse to rant about me and to whitewash your posts from yeasterday~
