This had nothing to do with his supposed innocence or guilt.
This was about the irony of him complaining about the "leak" of information, after everything he "leaked".

That's ridiculously simplistic. Leaking government documents on the grounds that the citizenry has the right to know what the government does in its name is hardly comparable to the government leaking select information about a criminal investigation of a private individual to punish the person.

I think the latest Wikileaks document dump was pointless and served no legitimate public purpose, but the idea that Assange should be punished by the government leaking embarrassing information about his is bullshit.

If you take an ankle deep approach to it I guess it's "ironic." On the flip side isn't it ironic that the government on the one hand wants to punish Assange for leaking information and then goes and does the same thing?

for starters, the military leaks talking or showing information about soldiers...are you now claiming soldiers are public persons? lol

he is further going to release info on a major bank...it really is humorous to see you stupidly claim there is no mention of any private individual in all those documents....lol

DynCorp is an agent of the government.


Edit: And the underlying fact that DynCorp hired a "dancing boy" for a party was already public information. The leak was of a government communication to quash the story in advance of the Frontline piece on "dancing boys" and other press reports about it.
