We've gotta stand with our North Korean allies

It is simply a misspeak. They happen all the time, and she corrected when prompted, kinda like Obama and his misspeak when he spoke of his "Muslim faith" and was prompted by the interviewer to correct.

You know, this one:
YouTube - Re: Obama Admits Muslim Faith

It's silly to take simple misspeak and turn it into something more. There are plenty of examples that don't need deliberate disingenuity to "believe". It is a simple misspeak, not even one of the funnier ones, she had clearly noted that N. Korea was "bad" for about a minute and a half before making it. It's like taking the interview out of context to maintain the Obama "really is Muslim"... It's for fools and those who don't pay attention, not fare for such as pay attention like posters here.
So, you think, she knows foreign policy? You think she understands what is going on with Korea? You think she knows what she is talking about, is that what you are saying?

I call people hacks when they're hacks. You, on the other hand, defend them immediately if they're hacks, as long as they're on the right.

Because you're a hack.

:)
I have a calendar that was just given to me with 365 days of remarks by Sarah, I shall be more than happy to share them beginning January 1!

Do I seem upset to you? That's interesting.

I'm just commenting on the weirdness of the repetition. Have at it, though - it seems to suit your style...

why do you demand that others raise the level of discourse, insult others regarding their level of discourse and then say nothing except - you're a hack, you're dumb, thats stupid blah blah....?

it would be like don quixote asking people to not curse and then cursing every post....do you see whats happening here?

i'm trying to get you to raise the level of discourse, you run around bitching about others and their low leve of discourse, but then you repeatedly call people hacks, dumb, stupid, etc....come on onceler...

lead the way and raise the level of discourse...or stop bitching about the lack thereof because its hypocritical

I've already slapped him (Onceler)... down and he can't even come back with a rational adult reply.....

WTF are you ranting about?....Are you posting in the wrong thread?

We're talking about people mis-speaking and how the double standard is alive and well....

See? Now this is what "upset" seems like.

Please take note.

How about you elaborate....

Don't you think we do, as a matter of standard practice, "keep and eye on" every fuckin' plane that enters our airspace, pinhead?

Be it Russian planes or Canadian planes...

and I don't understand the "actually, that's worse" statement....

WHATS worse than what? Try entire, coherent sentences....

Oh, man - I can't tell you how wonderful it is to see someone defend that as a legit example of "foreign policy experience."

That's WAY beyond usual hackdom, bravs. Again - you keep raising the bar....

This is not an example of anything....can't you really read at all....?

My questions were simple...you SHOULD be able to give some lame answer to explain your words....

Take the real easy one...do we or don't we "keep an eye on" any and all planes that enter our airspace...and it we do, why did YOU ridicule here remark...?
It has nothing to do with "foreign policy experience."...Its US policy now and always has been....

that should be easy for you....then we can find out why you think its actually worse..????? Or what its worse than.

What are you babbling about?

The only reason Palin's comments about "Putin in the airspace" and "Russia's on our border" disturb me stem from an answer she gave about her reaction to McCain asking her to be his running mate: that you can never show doubt or hesitation, or anything but 100% certainty. Sometimes, if you don't know the answer to something, you can look pretty DUMB trying to make something up.

So, yeah - her middle school BS answer about "Putin in the airspace" and Alaska bordering "Russia" (which it really doesn't), were just plain dumb, and indicative of character.

I don't expect you to understand this, since you're clearly gaga over her, and would pull the lever now for her if you could....

If thats your problem....lets start there...

Lets take that first one.....Palin NEVER said "Russia's on our border"
Lets start there
....now what else you got?

What I'm pointing out, LOUD & CLEAR, is the double standard used by liberal pinheads when dealing with simple human mistakes made by Republicans and Democrats....and you're obviously not getting it....
The pinhead obsession with Sarah Palin can only be described as incredible....

Obama gets a pass when he mis-speaks while Palin gets as bashed over and over by not only pinheads on these innocuous websites but on main stream media and national TV programs like SNL, Letterman, Stewart, the View, Leno and many others..... substituting North for South in ONE instance gets headlines, while saying corpseman instead of corpsman, over and over, literally gets a pass.....so in closing ....FU!

I do not give a toss what Obama says. If he was in error then he was in error. My politics are concerned with the planet and its well-being not the politics of your (foreign) country.
Obama happens to be better for the planet than bush so I will side with him, but errors are errors. period (as you so quaintly say).
You may say that all politicians are fools. You may say that Obama is a fool, but let me assure you of one thing Jack, Palin is making america a bigger laughing stock than even bush. The woman is thick, stupid, ignorant and a liability to all that is good about your country.
The only people who are more foolish than Palin are those who think she is smart.

Its fine to get on her case for something she actually said....but you don't fuckin' even know what she did and didn't say....and

I've searched the web for "Putin in the airspace"...nothing ....you have a link to that i presume, or are you being an asshole again.

How pathetic. You're saying I don't know what I'm talking about, but you don't even remember the interview in question:

"COURIC: You've cited Alaska's proximity to Russia as part of your foreign policy experience. What did you mean by that?

PALIN: That Alaska has a very narrow maritime border between a foreign country, Russia, and on our other side, the land-- boundary that we have with-- Canada. It-- it's funny that a comment like that was-- kind of made to-- cari-- I don't know, you know? Reporters--

COURIC: Mock?

PALIN: Yeah, mocked, I guess that's the word, yeah.

COURIC: Explain to me why that enhances your foreign policy credentials.

PALIN: Well, it certainly does because our-- our next door neighbors are foreign countries. They're in the state that I am the executive of. And there in Russia--

COURIC: Have you ever been involved with any negotiations, for example, with the Russians?

PALIN: We have trade missions back and forth. We-- we do-- it's very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia as Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where-- where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border. It is-- from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there. They are right next to-- to our state. "

Fool.

OK one thing at a time..
Palin said in that interview:
"That Alaska has a very narrow maritime border between a foreign country, Russia, and on our other side, the land-- boundary that we have with-- Canada."

Do you deny that Russia terrority sits 2.5 miles away from US territory...?
Is that not a very narrow maritime border?

Here is Palin actual quote...
"They're our next door neighbors and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska".

She that not correct..?

And for the record, I NEVER mentioned "foreign policy experience." or defended what she said as "foreign policy experience."

Another thing I'll say for Palin, is that all of the NORAD Air Defense Sectors are operated by Air National Guardsmen (plus Royal Canadian Air Forces) rather then the Active Duty AF. This means, even though her role is small (federal mission), she would have some knowledge of what goes on at Elmendorf.

Bravo, I really don't have time to explain something this simplistic to you. It's not that she is "lying" about the maritime border. It's that she is touting it as FOREIGN POLICY EXPERIENCE.

Where do you learn the shifting goalposts thing from...Yurt?

Try to read back through the thread to see where this started before wasting my time again.....

And "Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America,"

is quite different than "Putin in the airspace"...

No wonder my web search turned up nothing....you got that wrong too..

LOL

Only if you're conflicted about the meaning of the word "is."

Could you be any more of a parser? Bravo, what you wrote above is ridiculous....
