Well? Maliki has now been given the green light to form a government. Even though he lost to Allawi. The Sunnis picked another American puppet(Allawi) to represent them and got burned.

Other news? The Kurd President is refusing to sign for the execution of Christian Tariq Aziz. The Vatican and the UN are even calling to spare his life.

Expect Al Sadr's influence to grow, even among the Sunnis....

As will Iran's influence in Iraq........

In Afghanistan, the US is trying to get tribes to fight the Taliban. Reminds me of the movie the Omen, when they are speaking of the antiChrist. He will turn man against his brother(which seems to be a common theme) divide and conquer....

Now I know this is made up, but some of it is right on. The empire rising is America.
 
The Iraq war was lost before we started.

The War in Afganistan may not be salvagable due to the focus having been lost on Iraq.

You got that right. George bush sr, even stated it would be a losing war to attack Iraq. Thats why he pulled out.

Now they have strengthened the hand of Iran.

And as far as Afghanistan? They said they weren't going to occupy it like the Russians did. Though that is exactly what they have done. The only thing is the Americans are smarter. They are getting the Afghanistans to fight among themsleves. All of Afghanistan was united against the Russians.

Still, the Taliban are hardened fighters. If the tribes do turn against the Taliban, the tribes will be slaughtered just like has happened in the past.

I would imagine that Mujahideen are winning more hearts(recruiting fighters) then the Americans are.

This is going to be a long war.
 
What really makes me sick is the support the war has received by these brainwashed Christians in the south. They think this is Prophecy being fulfilled. Little do they know, they are the ones that are being deceived, just like the Prophecy states.

These wars are all about corporate interests.

The Taliban will start recruiting fighters for a major battle this spring.

Well if the elites win in Iraq? The Elites regain control of the oil fields and Profits. At the expense of the Average Joe's sweat, blood and tears.....

If they win in Afghanistan? They control the poppy fields and the Pharmaceutical Elites roll in the cash. Did you see the stocks jump just before the war? Not to mention Natural Gas pipelines.

The rich win the war(who have invested interests in it). Everyone else, loses either way and is stuck with the bill.....

The wars in Iraq and Afhgan were total clusterfucks.

The US hasn't learnt the lessons of Vietnan yet, that you can't win a war with overwhelming firepower.

That is why we ducked out odf Iraq before too long and will be gone from Afghan soon.

We aren't pussies who bail out. We just want wars to be fought properly....

I have already stated this, if you had read my post. Still, there are some similarities.

Pussies who bail out? You shouldn't be in their in the first place. If you weren't pussies you would pick on countries that are more of a match. Like Russia or North Korea. Showing your might against these small countries is laughable.

Even in both world wars. It took the Americas how many years to come into the fight?
