A President-elect, or a Congressman-elect, has no more ability to fix an economy than they do to cause a recession, or, for that matter, start a war, or do anything else that Presidents & Congresspeople who are actually in office do.

Get it yet? I'm frankly amazed by this. I don't think I can be any more clear, though I will keep at it.

You appear to be the only one that is stuck on anyone 'fixing" the economy, prior to assuming the office.
You keep throwing this out and yet the only proof that it was ever suggested, is your opinion; which you've shown nothing to support it.

Obama winning the election created an atmosphere that allowed some to speculate. This has nothing to do with your assertion of "fixing" anything.

Admit you lied and we can move forward.
Well, that's not entirely true; because the rest of use have always been able to move forward, whereas you are obviously stuck in the hole you dug for yourself.

Yurt & USFreedom endorsing the idea that it is plausible enough for Obama to have caused a recession (that was already in progress) by merely being elected that it isn't completely ridiculous to make that argument.

Like I said, about 30 seconds after that, I posted what my meaning was - the stock market tanking, calling it the "Obama Recession" - and you were absolutely, 100% fine w/ that explanation, and asked me to link that. There wasn't one word about a hairsplitting distinction of "fixed", or anything like that. A full day went by before you latched onto that.

I explained my initial post to bravo, and the basic idea behind it, which you either ignored (hopefully), or didn't understand (which would be somewhat tragic).

Oh - I forgot - that's all because I "tricked" you.

it was not a full day "before" i latched on onto the fix claim, that was what i first called you on, however, you deflected and since i wasn't paying close attention i forgot about the original claim you made the republicans expected obama to FIX the economy before he took office
