Onceler was asked to show where anyone expected Obama to fix the economy BEFORE he took office and Onceler has attemted to hide this under everything, except the kitchen sink.

What's really funny is that Onceler is trying to put the losses in the Stock Market, when Obama was elected, to prove that this means someone expected Obama to fix the economy PRIOR to taking office.

Onceler you have failed miserably; but at least you provided entertainment for those of us that can actually read and have cognitive abilities.

this is a good point...i allowed onceler to distract me with his usual lies and twisting of people's words....the focus was on "fix" not blame him for the economy....

Seems to me that the posters who are splitting hairs are the ones saying that Obama didn't really affect the economy after his election, but that he did CAUSE the recession.

Yurtsie, the idea is that it's idiotic to blame anyone for anything about the economy before they are actually IN OFFICE. Which is why - on the other thread - I was clear about my referring back to conservatives blaming Obama for the market crash & recession right after he was elected, which they did.

so why did you claim republicans said he coudl fix the economy before he took office?

it is possible someone could influence parts of the economy before the took office, however, i wouldn't hold them responsible as it is all pure speculation on anyone's part

I was poking bravo; my only point was that it's silly & ridiculous to hold anyone responsible for an economy before they take office and have a chance to do anything, which was borne out of conservatives calling the downturn the "Obama Recession" as early as November of 2008.

The thing with you is, you'll just hop on anything I say and start demanding all kinds of links and proof and all that. It's BS that you said I "distracted" you; on the other thread, I made it clear I was talking about the market crash & "Obama Recession," and you had no issue w/ it at that point.
