Deficit panel - hit SSI, mortgage deductions, medicare

You posted it pinhead.....
I read the article and I'm asking YOU why the hell you posted it....
WHAT WAS YOUR POINT?...or do you just want to show us how well you and cut and paste?

Could be Mr. Roberts has a bit of a pointy head too...

Yea, even when Republicans try to tell you that Republicans are trying to help the rich steal the pennies off the eyes of the dead, your dogmatic pin for a head starts pointing left.

What Paul Craig Rpberts is trying to tell you is:

We constantly hear from Wall Street gangsters and from Republicans and an occasional Democrat that Social Security and Medicare are a form of welfare that we can’t afford, an “unfunded liability.” This is a lie. Social Security is funded with an earmarked tax. People pay for Social Security and Medicare all their working lives. It is a pay-as-you-go system in which the taxes paid by those working fund those who are retired.

Currently these systems are not in deficit. The problem is that government is using earmarked revenues for other purposes.

So you posted that whole article to tell us that social security money is raided from the general fund?

Because there is a lot that can be done over the next 27 years to ensure that those cuts to scheduled benefits will not happen. Worrying today about a problem that far off in the distance is insane, particularly when there are much more serious issues that need to be dealt with in a much shorter time frame, particularly Medicare.

You economically challenged dumbass, you are so clueless it's not even worth the effort trying to argue with your complete lack of knowledge

Whatever, guy. Here's a chart:

If you want to address long term deficit issues, the first thing you do is to take on Medicare and Medicaid, not Social Security or discretionary spending.

Oncelor:

I'm still keenly interested in your SS privatization plan that improves things from a deficit perspective. Whenever you have a chance send it along.

This mindset that 'we can only try solving ONE of the problems at a time' is nothing short of moronic.

I know your masters have you trained well and you do parrot their talking points with perfection, but wake the fuck up. Quit drinking their piss and eating up their bullshit. You will find the world a better place.

From your picture, it looks like you gorged yourself on drinking piss and eating up bullshit.

Hilarious. It's not talking points, it's reality. Medicare and Medicaid are exponentially bigger problems from a deficit perspective than SS. It's not solving one problem at a time, it's solving the problem.

Like all the other deficit hawks I know, you don't really have a problem with deficits, you have a problem with taxes and how they are spent. You don't want to fix the deficit, you want to pay less in taxes. You don't want to fix the deficit by dealing with SS, and you don't want to "fix SS," you just want private accounts for your own personal benefit. I'd take you more seriously if you were at least honest about it.

medicare is definitely the larger problem. easy fix for SSI is to separate from general fund and increase the tax on it. Fuck raising ages or reducing benefits. Let some of the inheritance tax go towards it or do the donut-hole proposal.

In terms of the healthcare something needs to be done. MA was the early example of what the national plan is. We are starting to really get ours here. Hospitals are closing and laying off, emergency room wait times are way up, wellness exam waits are way up, and the cost is far higher then anticipated.

When I'm wrong, I admit it....

You claimed federal worker wages were stagnant...what bullshit....I showed you the raises they got just in the last 2 years and another in 2012

So your nasty post was uncalled for....

"What a dullard, wages have been stagnate for 30 years, ..... Tea Time Republicans! "
You show me where you have admitted to being wrong, ever! It happens on almost a daily basis, so I think you are fooling yourself!

Again moron.... I know they are bigger problems. That does not mean we should stop talking about ways to fix SS today. That means we need to find ways to fix SS, Medicare, Medicaid, etc... with regards to the deficit. Including (as I have stated 1000 fucking times) cutting defense spending.

Like all the other deficit hawks I know, you don't really have a problem with deficits, you have a problem with taxes and how they are spent.

What a load of crap. You obviously are too fucking ignorant to read what people write and comprehend it. Do a search and see how many times I have stated we need to start with cutting defense spending. Quit being a fucking hack and learn to actually discuss the issues like a grown up rather than a fucking parrot.

You don't want to fix the deficit by dealing with SS, and you don't want to "fix SS," you just want private accounts for your own personal benefit. I'd take you more seriously if you were at least honest about it.

Perhaps if you actually bothered to READ what my actual points are on the topic you wouldn't come off looking like the complete idiot that you are.

I have stated many times that the solution to SS is:

1) Privatize SS (which does NOT mean putting everything into the stock market)

2) Reinstate the SS tax on income over $1mm

So again.... pull your head out of your masters ass and take a look around at what people are actually saying rather than simply chirping in that dark hole as you consume more shit.

ahh.... the avatar... what a witty moron he is. That kid is the problem. That kid is a future health hazzard in waiting.

It's too bad they hadn't taken toys out of happy meals when he was a young child. He probably never would have started eating hamburgers, fries and sodas and would be a healthier and more productive member of society.
