Lets hope at least someone I voted for will win, although chances look bleak...

Good for you, you voted and most US citizen's don't exercise that right, it is a shame, especially when I see other countries and the citizens are lined up to do be able to vote!

Well I guess America won't get shut out this year. One person voted.

Don't count your chickens yet.... Jarod lives in FL.... which means the following are all possibilities

1) He actually filled out a happy meal survey at McDonalds

2) He had a hanging chad, got confused and vetoed his own ballot

3) He mailed a blank ballot in because it already had his name on it

4) He was one of the three Floridians smart enough to fill out the ballot, but he was one of the two of them that forgot to mail it in.

I voted at the supervisor of elections office, you dont have to mail anything in, we no longer have Chads.... We use a scan system. I did however vote for Buchanon!

I'm voting on Tuesday. It should be a fun Tuesday night. I've already told everyone at work that I will be late to work the day after, as I'll most surely have a hang over.

I voted to privatize the liquor industry
I voted against introducing an idiotic income tax
I voted against repealing some sales taxes on candy, soda, and bottled water
I voted to extend said taxes

Lets hope at least someone I voted for will win, although chances look bleak...
Yea I voted early too. Of the 21 candidates on my ballot I voted 12 Dems and 6 Repubs. I did not vote in 3 judicial races as the candidate ran unopposed and in principle I won't vote for an unopposed candidate. Why the hell do they even put them on the ballot?

You forgot Obama, Clinton and Carter.
Clinton will go down in history as one of the greatest Presidents we have ever had. I know that really gets under some people's gullet, but you can't change facts. His administration did some things that I did not agree with, but you must admit the man is a political genius, even if you don't like him.

I hate to sound stupid, but what is a joint AMVETS meeting?
Not stupid. Anyways it's a meetin between AMVETS, Sons of AMVETS, and the AMVETS Womens Auxiliary. We're the ones in charge and lately there has been a lot going on with the women and the sons, so we're trying these join meetings as a way to bring everyone together. Mainly the women and sons don't like the idea of having to pay for stuff. It's all very political, which is one reason I chose the user name I currently have, as those two traits are of the highest importance to me right now, along with subtlety.

I guess I would tend to agree with your statement.

It's the facts that I hope get preserved.
