See... here's the thing... You want to know who I blame for all this Global Warming garbage? The Moderate Conservatives! Yep... that's right! We can go back to the late 60s, early 70s... the national debate over the Clean Air Act of 1972. Liberals were whining and moaning about carbon monoxide emissions. Photos of smog blanketing LA were published in Time and Newsweek... video was shown on CBS and ABC... the 'talking heads' of the day, drew our undivided attention to this problem which was seemingly caused by American progress and industry... something HAD to be done, before we all smothered to death in a cloud of toxic pollution.

Well... Enter the Moderate Conservative, to 'entertain' the liberal concept! Yeah, okay, we probably need to do something... they agreed with them! Once you have 'agreed' to a liberal concept, it's Katie-barred-the-door! That is the 'foothold' the liberal progressives use to further the concept, to expand the scope and the size of government response to it. You've already agreed with them in principle, so making their advanced arguments becomes very easy.

It happened to us again on Health Care... They started by drawing attention to the poor elderly who were having to suffer because they couldn't afford their medicine... Enter the Moderate Conservatives with the idea of the Pill Bill... Yeah, we probably need to do something to help the poor elderly folks get their pills... reminds me of an old Andy Griffith episode... (hmmm... has the 'brainwashing' by liberals been going on THAT long.)

Next thing you know, Liberal Progressives are completely overhauling health care!

We have to STOP listening to these idiots! I mean it... Stop trying to be an intellectually enlightened "MODERATE" Conservative and pop these stupid ass motherfuckers in the mouth with their idiocy completely and totally! Take off the damn gloves and call them out for the Socialist-Marxist KOOK NUTJOBS they are, and stop trying to pretend there is some sort of "line of discourse" you can hope to achieve... it never happens! They know damn well what they are doing, where they are going, and what they want to eventually get you to succumb to! There is no 'debate' to be had... they aren't going to be 'reasonable' about this... there is no 'moderate' position with them... only 'chinks' in the armor of Conservatism they can exploit!

since i used to live in la and got to breath the smog i am quite glad that the smog levels are now well below the levels in the 50's and 60's
