O'Donnels victory

The Republicans win everything and declare Sarah Palin president for life.

That's funny, because most of the establishment Republicans say O'Donnell's win ensures a Democrat win for Delaware in November, and likely retention of a majority in the Senate. Most of these same Republicans are on record as saying, if Sarah Palin is the GOP nominee in 2012, Obama will be re-elected.

Here is what you are seeing, since you seem to be confused... You are seeing the emergence of a grass roots movement, taking over one of the two major political parties. The TEA Party are not simply a "wing" of the Republican party, they are largely independent and moderately libertarian voters, many of which have seldom supported Republicans. I think this is probably the biggest tactical mistake the left is making with this, in thinking the TP is just a sliver of the GOP who has been riled up. You keep attacking George Bush, redneck Bible-thumpers, religious nuts, racist bigots, flag-wavers, and none of these things are working for you. Unless you turn things around, and start addressing the issues and countering the "smaller government" arguments which are resounding so well with the TP mainstreamers, you will continue to flounder. Attacking Bush, and trying to tie these TP people to Bush, is futile... it's not working, isn't going to work.

It was a joke Dixie, do you remember what those are? I am sure if you go way back you can remember the last time you cracked one of those! and a smile, try real hard!

Okay, I will write this down and see where it goes, I have an eerie feeling you come real close! She could see Russia from her heart, you know!

And that pos santorum is testing the waters for a presidential run, too.

Can you imagine those two as prez and veep? :barf:

Nope, I think they're going to win everything.

I'm just going to hazard a guess that she won't win the election...

It's 53-42. The fact that a candidate as extreme as her can even get 42% speaks volumes to me (do you know any Communist party candidates that could get 42%?) And I bet the actual election is going to be closer. I refuse to rule out an O'Donnel victory.
