International Burn a Quran Day? WTF?

It's what we did to fight Phelps in Topeka. People pledged a certain amount for every protester out at one of Fred's events. At the end of the month all the money would be donated to AIDS research in the name of the Westboro Baptist Church. We would send the church a thank you card saying that if they hadn't been out picketing this month we could not have raised X amount of dollars for AIDS research. Hell we should start a nationwide drive and donate the money to a Veteran's group and tell the Phelpsians that if they had not been out protesting we could not have donated money to the cause.

Great idea, except they probably wouldn't be offended by your raising money for vets....

The money should go to a mosque or Islamic community center in Weepertown, FL (aka Gainesville)

Yes. The idea of burning books offends me. The idea of doing it because your invisible friend supposedly told you to is worse.

Jihadists are evil, just like idiots who would burn crosses in yards because God says black people have the "mark of Cain" or the idiots who protest at the funerals of military personnel because they think God hates gays so much he'll kill anybody who ever lived in a nation with a gay person (that would be everybody).

Jihadists who are pledged to murder are nothing like those who burn crosses or qurans. Burning things, or protesting gaeity is nothing like theocratic based murder. SO there. get your analogies straight. But I am sorry on some of the other stuff.

Jihadists are exactly like those who would murder in the "Name of God" because of the "mark of Cain"...

Burning books because you think God will love you more if you do is stupid and evil. I separated it out with a different number because it is obviously different than killing people. Supporting it because it is a book you dislike is hypocrisy. Ignoring the fact that it only enforces the propaganda and supports their recruitment is just inanity.
