Whataboutism wasn't the point of this thread. Are Blackman and Esformes members of Congress? If not, they're not relevant here. Grifters and cheats exist in the private sector and when caught usually do lots of time. Members of Congress on the other hand simply say "Sorry..." then run for reelection, at least if they're Democrats...

Explain Scott. He ran a health company that created the largest Medicare fraud in history and was welcomed into the Republican fraternity. He was elected gov, then senator. He is highly honored in Republican cabals.

Then he's one of those insiders that got squirrely with the money--like Omar likely has. His mistake was being a Republican. Democrats heap high honors on a lot of their greasy politicians too, so that's not unusual.
