I've noticed a trend in terminology

That’s 2, and one is a nobody
  • AOC did call red states “oppressed.”
  • NYC does have a projected $5B gap — normal for big cities.
  • Transit crime is not currently spiking; Fox uses outdated data.
  • The sanitation failure happened, but it was one storm, not the norm.
  • The subway murder is real, but Fox uses it to imply a broader collapse.
  • The article is fact‑based but heavily framed to maximize outrage.

Tell that to your MAGA comrades, don’t know how many times I’ve heard them say black districts were racist
Anything divided along racial lines is, by definition, racist. Duh.
Tennessee took the City of Memphis, an urban area 65% black, and divided it into three separate district dominated by a white rural populace who heavily favors Republicans. Memphis lost their Congressional representative who identified with their interests and views. Not the intent of democracy
Bullshit, like I said, one district will likely have a black woman in place of a white man. You just don't like the fact that the black person is a Republican.

Of late, I've noticed a trend among the Left and Democrats to reframe how they label states. It used to be red and blue states with red being Republican led and blue Democrat led.

What I am seeing is a switch by Leftists in the Democrat(ic) party to using terms like oppressor or oppressed states versus democratic ones. That is, the Left is moving towards labeling red states as "oppressive" or "fascist" and blue states as "Democratic."

It is a typical reframing by the Left when they recognize they're losing a debate. People are fleeing blue states for red ones and it's seriously threatening the Left's grip on power and gaining more power. So, they're upping the rhetoric to inflammatory levels in hopes of scaring people into voting for them.
It's also leftists doing their typical projection tactic.

I'm not paying $6 for gas ... gas is currently priced at roughly $3.50/gallon wholesale. If you're paying $6 per gallon, then your leftist controlled state is taxing the ever loving piss out of it.
Awesome. So you're paying $3.50. What was that fuel price/gallon 3 months ago?

Awesome. So you're paying $3.50.
No. The station that I keep pricing tabs on is currently charging $4.299/gallon (this is what I pay if I buy regular unleaded gas there). If I instead go to the local Woodmans gas station, they are charging $4.199/gallon (they are able to charge less due to their business model).

$3.50/gallon is a rough approximation of the current wholesale rate.
What was that fuel price/gallon 3 months ago?
A lot less than it is right now.

I have no idea of where you see this at all...let alone as a trend. But if you see it on the Internet in forums like this one...well...the trend has also included those on the right calling blue states "shithole states."

It happens in these places.

Personally, I suspect it is not a "trend" at all...and is something you invented...and consider to be reasonable.

Reconsider, because it isn't.

Memphis wasn’t divided along racial lines, the district represented the urban vote, now that has been diluted and divided by mixing it with rural districts. White Republicans will represent the three districts covering Memphis

3. Fallacy‑Name Tourette’s

He fires off fallacy names like a malfunctioning label maker:

  • Buzzword fallacy
  • Assumption of victory fallacy
  • Redefinition fallacy
  • Argument of the Stone
  • Inversion fallacy
None are applied correctly. None are explained. None are tied to my actual statements.

This is fallacy‑spam behavior — using terminology as a shield, not a tool.

...

@T. A. Gardner is just as guilty of the above too.

He almost always throws out fallacies he does not apply properly or does not understand and when shown clearly how he is misusing it goes on a spin cycle of non sensical noise hoping to cover it up and move on.

LOL, I just put Lurchy on ignore yesterday. I can tell by your reply he hasn't got the help I've been telling him to get. Obviously, he's still obsessed with sucking dick. It's his favorite topic and it seems to be all he thinks about.
you brag about hitting ignore while dissecting every word the man says. That isn’t indifference, that’s fixation. I don't need to drag you anywhere, you walk yourself to the gate every time you pretend you’re above the conversation you can’t stop chasing.

But she did not say red states were the oppressors now did she, and just to educate you, Memphis electing a black representative wasn’t reverse racism, the city is 65% black, duh
The fact that you think an equation or percentage determines racism exposes your very own racism. Melanin levels are the first thing you morons consider before moving an inch or saying a word or thinking a thought. You have no problem designing different standards for people with various levels of melanin either.

I love your favorite descriptors these days, black and brown people, lol. Maybe you can be the first person to tell me what a brown person is. Do you have a list? I also need to know what percentage of brown or black qualifies a person for the different standards and benefits? Do you know that number? Also, I'm wondering if there's a color strip like you get when picking out paint colors to determine if a person is 'brown enough'? Just curious.

you didn’t answer a single point, you just built a cartoon argument because the real one was too solid to twist. When facts show up, you retreat into melanin monologues and paint‑strip fantasies. That’s not debate, that’s evasion dressed as outrage.

Definitely a homo. He saved me the trouble of putting him on ignore, he ignores me. I guess he got tired of me presenting facts and ruining all of his idiotic sophomoric arguments.

It's a shame he would besmirch the late great Ted Cassidy's good name by using his likeness for such a contemptible persona.

@Tobytone, @countryboy, you call it ignoring him, but here you are performing a two‑man requiem about someone you swear you’re above. That isn’t confidence, it’s the sound of brittle egos rattling in the dark, terrified the thread will notice how little either of you actually bring to it.
