ok so even if the US were to somehow achieve regime change in this war or whatever I would still consider the US to have lost it.

The superpower doesnt really lose the war in terms of military it does so in terms of prestige. Its like Cornwallis said in the Patriot. This is not the conduct of a gentleman

I would say the razing of Iran to the ground would be acceptable. That at least shows brutal determination.

The constant Tacoing. Leaving allies in the lurch all leave a bad taste in the mouth. Its one thing to leave Europeans in the lurch. They dont really contribute much. But the UAE left OPEC for you and siezed 500 bn worth of UAE assets. Then you let them get bombed to the ground by Iran.

Its a shame Trump does not see this. Right now I would actually prefer he just do abject surrender. That would be less damaging to our prestige than the monkey show he is putting on now.

More alarming news from the White House: after not even 48 hours, President Trump has ended the so-called “project freedom” claiming success, where it is embarrassingly obvious there is none.So far as we are aware, two individual ships left through the SOH and that’s it. Two other ships attempted and were fired on by Iran and prevented from leaving, and last I saw, no other ships exited the SOH today.By keeping the blockade in place, he guarantees there will be no negotiations w the other side. Pretending that there are negotiations happening with Iran, is starkly refuted by Iranian statements. This is just more evidence of an administration foundering, desperate for any kind of a solution, but with no northstar as to what they’re even looking for.We remain in a very dangerous situation, as every day that passes with the strait closed, the economic damage to our country piles on.

If democrats get in they will kill AI which is the only thing we have an advantage in nowadays for the ghost of manufacturing.

I would love for manufacturing to come back too but without the political system of China we cant compete with cities like Shenzen.

They won’t kill it, communities will. People don’t want them in their neighborhoods. Cities, like Corpus Christi, who allowed a facility are running out of water and now regret their decision to allow the facility.

Democrats don’t want to kill AI, they just want it regulated, as it should be.
