WTI CRUDE

You told us gas stations were closed, and you don't need gasoline.

BTW, even with the fact that there is no fuel, eggs are still $1.59/dz
I never said gas stations were closed, I said there were two gas stations that did not have any gas. They were actually still open, selling oil and convenience items. I still don’t understand what your point is.

Run away now.

Sour crude requires coking to refine into diesel or gasoline. Refineries that can handle sour crude require special metallurgy to avoid corrosion from the sulfur in sour crude.

Yep. Same with pipelines that carry it. Some fields have 'skimming' plants to reduce some of the acidity, or used to.

On our recent trip to New Mexico, there were two stations that had no gas.

I think you were lying again.

They don't typically use sour crude to make diesel because of the sulfur in sour crude.
Yes they do. Part of the process is removing the sulfur. It is sold off as an industrial chemical.
On road use diesel is limited to 15 PPM. It is more expensive to refine diesel from sour crude than it is to refine it from sweet crude.
Not really. It is the same refinery.

Any refinery capable of handling sour crude can make pretty sweet diesel fuel. The gasoline produced is likewise sweet.
The sulfur is removed before fractioning.

Under what authority?
President of the United States, as authorized under Title II of the Constitution of the United States. The charting services were authorized by Congress IAW Title I of the Constitution of the United States, and placed under the authority of the President by that same Congress.

Now go back to cleaning the floors.
