I do not agree with this

Teflon Don

I'm back baby

Trump should not bail them out with taxpayer funds. This is just another GM.

Let the fuckers go bankrupt.

Plus all the videos I ever see of people losing their shit on an airplane almost always comes from Spirit Airlines. Probably people flying to Carnival Cruises. No wonder non violent people don't want to fly them.

1. Claim: “White House mulls using Defense Production Act in Spirit Airlines takeover”

  • ✅ Fact check:
    • CBS News reported that the Trump administration was considering invoking the Defense Production Act (DPA) to support Spirit Airlines, citing sources.
    • President Trump publicly expressed willingness to intervene to save jobs, which aligns with the headline.
    • This is plausible and verifiable reporting, but it depends on unnamed sources and public statements, not a final action.
  • Bias check: None in the reporting itself—just a news report.

2. Opinion: “Trump should not bail them out with taxpayer funds. This is just another GM. Let the fuckers go bankrupt.”

  • ❌ Fact check: This is opinion and partisan rhetoric.
    • The comparison to GM recalls the 2008 auto bailout, but Spirit Airlines is a private airline, not a failing auto manufacturer, and no bailout has occurred yet.
    • Strong language (“let the fuckers go bankrupt”) is purely rhetorical.
  • Bias check: Anti-Trump / anti-bailout bias, expressed in very emotional language.

3. Claim: “All the videos I ever see of people losing their shit on an airplane almost always comes from Spirit Airlines … Probably people flying to Carnival Cruises.”

  • ⚠️ Fact check:
    • This is anecdotal and unverifiable. Viral videos of passenger incidents happen on many airlines, not just Spirit.
    • There is no data showing Spirit Airlines passengers are disproportionately disruptive.
  • Bias check: Strongly negative bias against Spirit Airlines and its passengers, based on personal observation.

Bottom line: The only factual claim is the White House consideration of federal intervention, based on media reporting. Everything else is opinion, exaggeration, or anecdotal bias.

Wow, things are really changing, you admit you disagree with the PP on something, the bottom must really be falling out for him.

Yeah.

Trump is good 80% of the time. But this is really boneheaded.

Makes you want to call him "Barack Trump."

What are they calling this, GM 2.0?

The rare earth move was vital to our defense.

Intel is about to be acquired by NVidia - which is the market solution and makes sense. (Did Nancy Pelosi get her insider trading done?)

Trump’s Economic Approval Rating Crashes To New Historic Low

Donald Trump’s net approval rating on the economy has plunged to a historic low, according to a new aggregate of polls analyzed by CNN’s chief data analyst Harry Enten.

The economy was once Trump’s strongest political asset, and this collapse undercuts the central argument that powered his return to the White House.

Independent voters, who were decisive in Trump’s reelection, have moved sharply against him, threatening his broader political standing.

Trump often boasts that he created a “historic” economy. According to the data, that claim is accurate—but not in the way he intends.

Trump’s current net approval rating on the economy stands at minus 32 points. That figure alone would be damaging, but the trajectory makes it worse.

At the start of Trump’s second term, he held a plus-six net approval rating on the economy.

That means opinion has shifted nearly 40 points in just over a year, a level of decline unheard of in presidential polling.

For comparison, at the same point in Trump’s first term, his net approval on the economy was plus two.

Placed in historical context, the numbers become even more stark.

Trump now holds the worst net economic approval rating at this point in a presidency—or any term—of any president on record. Not just worse than his own previous performance, but worse than every modern predecessor.

Did I say it was? Just pointing out where I disagree with him. Unlike you marxists who defended everything B. Hussein Obama and Biden did.

This is why I think you are a complete moron bereft of any rational, nuanced thinking. You think because you walk in lock step with every single democrat politician (unless they take what you think is a conservative viewpoint) that everyone on the other side does as well.

As I have said countless times, there are plenty of issues I disagree with Trump on. In fact, I have always said there are many things he has in common with you leftists and there are many things they could have gotten from him. But, instead of thinking rationally, you idiots decided to fight him on everything and not only that but attack him personally. You haven't learned that unlike other politicians, he doesn't back down from a fight.

You live in this binary world where you keep trying to tell yourself that "the bottom is falling out". I assure you, it isn't.

The democrat party is likely to regain the House again. Your side will again view it as a complete and utter repudiation of Trump and leftist ascendancy rather than the normal order of things.

Every day I ask myself why I don't put you on ignore like Desh. There are often times very little difference between the two of you. But, please continue with your delusions.

Trump isn't perfect.

Just a fuckload better than any other POTUS in the last 30 years.

And I bet you supported King Obama bailing out GM..
“Trump isn’t perfect,” who told you

Trump’s Covid debacle alone ranks him near the bottom and now we got his war to add on to the fiasco of his time as President, but hey, keep on believing, it took centuries for people to reject geocentrism

Given the time inwhich it was done, yes, but we’re not in anything even remotely resembling the Great Recession at the moment

How does Gen Z feel about Trump? Latest poll shows stunning results.

Young Americans are not impressed by President Donald Trump’s second term so far, a new poll shows.

The latest NBC News poll, conducted by SurveyMonkey, found that Gen Z Americans have a negative view of Trump and a pessimistic outlook on the future of the United States. Gen Z adults were also likely to disapprove of Trump’s handling of immigration, inflation and the Iran war.

The poll, which surveyed adults ages 18 to 29, found that 76% of respondents strongly or somewhat disapproved of Trump’s handling of his job as president. Just 24% said they somewhat approved or strongly approved.

The survey found that an overwhelming majority (80%) believe the U.S. is on the wrong track, while just 20% said the country was on the right track.

The survey also found that Gen Z adults gave Trump poor ratings on immigration, the economy and the Iran war.

Seventy percent of Gen Z adults disapproved of Trump’s handling of immigration and border security — which used to be two of his strongest issues. Just 30% approved of Trump’s handling of immigration and border security, according to the survey.

Even more young adults — 80% — disapproved of Trump’s handling of inflation and the cost of living, while just 20% approved. The poll also found that 38% said their personal financial situation was worse today than a year ago; 22% said it was better, and 40% said there was no change.

The poll also asked respondents how much of a problem high gas prices had caused for them and their families. Thirty-nine percent called it a somewhat serious problem, 28% said it was a very serious problem and only 25% said it hasn’t been too serious a problem.

The poll also found that an overwhelming majority, 81%, disapproved of Trump’s handling of the Iran war, while just 19% approved.

It also showed 74% of respondents said the U.S. should stop military action against Iran. Only 12% said the U.S. should continue only with airstrikes, and just 14% said the U.S. should continue and consider all options, including troops on the ground.

I hear your frustration, but I think the discussion would be more productive if we focus on ideas rather than personal attacks. People can disagree with Trump, or any politician, without it being a binary judgment of their entire political identity.

I also think it’s a mistake to assume everyone on the left reacts the same way to him, opinions are much more nuanced than that. History shows that both parties experience wins and losses in Congress, and those shifts don’t automatically represent a wholesale judgment of any single politician or ideology.

Finally, dismissing others as irrational or delusional tends to shut down dialogue rather than encourage understanding. If we want to have a real conversation about policy differences, it might help to move past name-calling and talk about specific issues instead.
